I absolutely love this DJI gimbal. I’ve used it extensively in my real estate business, as well as for filming outdoor content like hiking trails and waterfalls, and it performs beautifully every time. It’s very easy to use with the app, provides smooth, professional-looking footage, and feels well built. I also appreciate that it comes with its own tripod while still being fully compatible with my professional tripod. A great tool for both business and outdoor filming.

I'm on Day-One with this product, but so far, I'm amazed. There's a brief learning curve learning all the functions that the small number of overloaded buttons perform, but I think that after a few uses, I'll hardly give it a thought. You do have to download the DJI app to take advantage of most of the features - that was no issue other than on first install, it went into "sleep" mode and said to tap the screen to wake it up... tapping would do nothing, but restarting the freshly-installed app seems to have fixed that little mishap. I also had to look-up which button to press to re-center it. The motors aren't super powerful, so just make sure you've mounted your phone in the center... and that the phone is oriented correctly in the harness (camera to the correct side). I use it with an iPhone 16 Pro. The phone's built-in magnet mount wasn't strong enough, but the mount included with the DJI is plenty powerful. At first, I didn't think the mount would fit my phone, but with a little spring-force, it fits just fine (But I can't imagine it fitting on the 16 Pro Max???) It also fits with my one-sided case attached... just got to fully extend it and give it a little effort. I was also concerned the mount was going to be pressing the side buttons, but somehow it does not. The stabilization is amazing. The tracking is amazing. The thumb-joystick is cool. The ability to power zoom while recording is next-to-amazing (on the iPhone 16 Pro there's a tiny hiccup when it switches between the lenses, but it works better than I would have expected). I didn't really even know this product existed until an hour before I bought it. I was just shopping for a cheap phone tripod/holder and a hand-grip... this product obviously gives a TON more than those two items for about the same price! (Unless you're comparing it to the cheapest grips). If it continues to perform as my first day tests... I can't give it a high enough recommendation for anyone who wants their phone video to truly step up to near-professional results. I can't wait to show this at our next Photography Club meeting! UPDATE: I gave it a more thorough work-out the next day and my amazement only grew! I recorded video while my wife drove our stiff-suspension golf cart through a rough construction zone, the video came out almost perfectly smooth. Extremely impressive!

Absolutely love it. My video quality has gone from Shaky at best to stable and higher quality. It packs up nicely and takes minimal space. It compatible and works great with both my android and iPhone. The grip is ergonomically designed and controls are easy to use. By Far the best investment I could have made as a yacht broker. For the price, can't go wrong. So many features...got the basics down fast, but so many more to learn! Was up and running quickly and my videos look 1000% better.

I really like this product, and it is really neat. I think it's a good deal for the price. One thing that's super cool is it stabilizes the phone for when you're moving, which is awesome. You can easily switch from landscape to vertical with just the push of a button. You can also turn the phone around with the push of a button and turn the camera. It's really useful and it's high quality. I like that it comes with an app, and the app has other cool features for filming with, like blurring effects and different cool filming effects. They teach you in the app how to do different cool shots and things. It's definitely really well made, and I like it a lot. The downsides are: • There isn't an easy way to turn the whole phone around. You can turn the camera, choose whether you want front-facing or back-facing camera very easily, but you just have to turn the whole gimbal if you want to turn the phone around because the actual joystick only goes right and left. It doesn't do 360, which isn't a huge deal. But when I was setting up a stable shot, I had to just turn my entire tripod around instead of turning the camera around, which was kind of annoying. • In order to use all the cool features, you got to use their recording app. You can't just use the iPhone app or whatever native camera you have on your phone and then use the device to get the features. The features are within the app, which isn't that big of a deal, but it's kind of annoying. • If you want to use the DJI Microphone with this, it throws off the balance and weight of your phone, and it can be very hard to get an angle that actually works without blocking the movement. I plugged my microphone in to the phone, and then the phone wouldn't turn around; it would get caught because of the microphone. It's weird that it's their microphone; they should make it work better with their gimbal. It's hard, and it kind of throws off the balance of the phone a little bit. I think I found a way by maneuvering the phone that it could spin fairly freely with the microphone plugged in, but it wasn't easy to do and it took maneuvering. So I feel like it should work more seamlessly with their own products or they should have a way to plug the microphone directly into the gimbal so you don't have to worry about that. • Sometimes, if your phone is off balance, you get this little Air notification, and it's pretty annoying. You have to adjust the balance of your phone. That's just kind of the nature of the gimbal having to stabilize your phone, but it is a little bit annoying. But other than that, for $50, I would definitely get this again. If it was $70-80 bucks, then I feel like those little annoyances would make it feel like it's not worth it.

This thing is awesome. Setup was easy, it’s super light, and it doesn’t wear out your arm during longer videos. I also mounted it on a tripod, and it works great that way too. Using the DJI app, the auto-tracking is spot-on. If you’re filming a person, it follows them automatically—you don’t have to chase the shot. The magnet is incredibly strong, and pairing it with my iPhone 16 has been flawless. The controls are intuitive and easy to figure out, and it was super easy to connect with my phone via Bluetooth. For the price, I couldn’t be happier.

I was excited about the built-in tripod and magnetic clamp that make setup a breeze. Pros: • Super lightweight at around 300g—10% lighter than the Mobile 6, so my arm doesn’t tire out as quickly during shoots. • Excellent 7th-gen stabilization that handles bumpy walks and quick pans without any jitter; footage looks pro-level. • Battery lasts up to 10 hours, which is a big upgrade—I’ve gone through full-day vlogs without needing a recharge. • The DJI Mimo app adds cool features like AI editing and gesture controls, making it fun for quick edits. Cons: • The app can be glitchy sometimes, like freezing during updates or not supporting 60fps shooting right away. • No built-in extension rod (that’s on the 7P model), so for higher angles, you’ll need to buy extra accessories. • Folding and unfolding takes a bit of practice to get right without accidentally turning it on or scratching your phone. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, mostly for YouTube shorts and travel vids with my Samsung Galaxy S24. The magnetic clamp snaps on securely without scratching, and Quick Launch lets me unfold it without removing the phone—way better than the Mobile 6. Stabilization shines on uneven terrain; I shot a hiking video, and it kept everything buttery smooth, way beyond what my phone’s built-in OIS can do. Battery held up great—after 2 hours of mixed use, it was still at full. Compared to the Mobile 6, the controls feel more intuitive with the new zoom slider, and the anti-slip grip makes it comfy to hold. I tested ActiveTrack on moving subjects, and it followed accurately without losing focus. At $149.99, it’s a fantastic value for anyone stepping up their mobile videography game. It’s pricier than budget gimbals, but the build quality and features make it worth it over cheaper knockoffs. I’d recommend this to vloggers, TikTokers, or hobbyists who want professional-looking footage without lugging heavy gear. If you’re a total beginner or need the extension rod, consider the 7P instead. Overall, the Osmo Mobile 7 has made my content creation so much smoother and more enjoyable. It’s not flawless, but the improvements over the previous model make it a solid upgrade that I’ll keep using.

Der Grauton sieht edel aus und das Material ist griffig. • Magnetische Klemme: Das Anbringen des Smartphones geht extrem schnell. Das "OM"-Logo auf der Klemme hilft bei der Ausrichtung. • Kompaktheit: Zusammengeklappt passt der Gimbal problemlos in die Jackentasche oder in den mitgelieferten Beutel. Perfekt für unterwegs. • Stabilisierung & Tracking: Die ActiveTrack-Funktion wurde spürbar verbessert. Das Tracking von Personen (selbst bei schnellen Bewegungen) funktioniert unglaublich präzise. Die Aufnahmen sind butterweich. • Integrierter Verlängerungsstab: Ein Feature, das ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Es ermöglicht viel bessere Winkel für Selfies oder bodennahe Aufnahmen (Low-Angle Shots). Was man beachten sollte (Neutral/Negativ): • App: Die DJI Mimo App ist mächtig, aber manchmal etwas überladen. Android-Nutzer müssen die App oft direkt über die DJI-Seite laden (APK), was etwas umständlich sein kann. • Akku: Der Akku hält gut durch (ca. 6 Stunden bei mir), ist aber fest verbaut. Man kann ihn also nicht mal eben schnell wechseln. Fazit: Wer viel mit dem Smartphone filmt und professionelle Ergebnisse ohne Wackler möchte, kommt am Osmo Mobile 7 kaum vorbei. Der Preis ist zwar gehoben, aber für die gebotene Technik und Software-Features absolut gerechtfertigt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
