Well-made and attractive
This is a well made and attractive butter dish. Itโs the kind I was looking for, but my only complaint is I wish it were a bit taller. I have to shave down our one pound blocks of butter to make them fit properly. Other than that, itโs a great container.

Nice thick ceramic, great finish. Love that you can use as tray or tub. Holds two sticks of butter. Would buy again.

Versatile design.
This thing is amazing. Fits a half pound Kerrygold easily, and really does keep the butter soft and spreadable! For context we live in a cold climate and an old house, so we usually look on winter as a time to move the butter closer to the stove, and that has not been necessary this year! The simple design has made it easy to clean and also easy to use on the table or the counter, as the lid doubles as a base!
