This is the keyboard you are looking for
I am a professional software engineer and computer enthusiast. I have used no fewer than a half dozen mechanical keyboards as my daily driver over the past few years, from brands like Corsair, Asus ROG, Logitech, and Lofree. This one is by far and away the best keyboard I have ever tried. I do not write product reviews very often, but it feels so good to type on this that I just wanted an excuse to use it more. This is the only keyboard I have ever encountered that does not leave me wanting for more features. I use and develop software on both Mac and Windows PC machines, so having a built-in switch to toggle between these different platforms is a game changer. The option to connect it via 2.4GHz adapter, Bluetooth, and directly via USB-C cable makes it incredibly versatile. I really appreciate the Bluetooth connectivity in particular, as it is surprisingly low latency and makes it super easy to switch between up to three connected devices in roughly a second (which is very useful when working on multiple machines simultaneously). The ability to fully customize the keyboard on the web is another huge perk. I have found that the Keychron launcher website is fairly intuitive and works well, and I am very pleased that I do not have to download another piece of software in order to get the most out of this keyboard. Though you can only configure the settings via the web interface when the keyboard is connected via USB-C cable, the settings get flashed to the board's internal persistent storage, so all of your settings (such as remapped keys and custom RGB profiles) still work when in Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz mode. But maybe most importantly is that from a pure aesthetic and feel standpoint, it looks, feels, and sounds awesome. The RGB lighting is subtle enough to not be too distracting for a workplace but vivid enough to add a cool accent. It is also very usable with the RGB backlight turned off, as it is not needed for readability. And I cannot emphasize enough just how good the feel is. I would say that the magnetic switches on this board respond most comparable to linear (red) switches from other manufacturers (which are my personal favorite kind) but with slightly more resistance that makes accidentally triggering keys less frequent. I find that I genuinely make fewer typos on this board compared to some of the other products I have tried. Controlling the key actuation depth is a really cool bonus feature, but I honestly find the default setting to be perfect. If I could find anything negative to say about this keyboard, it would be that the battery life is only ok. While some of the other keyboards I have tried have batteries that can last for more than a full work week of use, I find this one drains fairly quickly. It's enough to get me through about two day's worth of work before I have to plug it back in, but given that it is still fully usable in wired mode, I honestly don't find this to be too big of a deal. Otherwise, the list of cons pretty much ends there. Simply put, for $140, this board is an incredible value. It takes a really special product for me to take the time and write out a review, but this board is just that good. EDIT: I initially had some reservations about the battery life on this keyboard. In day to day experience, however, that has never been an issue. I find that the board lasts for quite a long time, even compared to some of the other models I’ve used in the past. So yeah, add that to the list of things this board has going for it.

Don't think, buy it.
This is my second Keychron keyboard. I loved my first but was really curious about the magnetic switches. I'm happy to report that they're awesome and SO customizable via Keychron's software that is actually good. Only con about the software is that the keyboard must be plugged in but as an engineer, this makes sense for a lot of reasons such as firmware updates, etc. Key stroke is smooth and predictable. Able to be customized greatly due to the position sensitive nature of the keys. My wife commented on how much more quiet it was which is no small feat. Product is BEEFY, built like a tank and honestly gorgeous. Get yourself a nice wooden wrist rest and be the envy of the office. My biggest gripe is that the keys themselves aren't backlit. I think this is a limitation of the key switches. The backlighting is sufficient but can be a little tough to make out the keys when it's dark. That said... I don't really look at my keyboard when typing so not that big of a deal.

Excellent Hall Effect Keyboard – Smooth and Precise
I’m very happy with the Keychron H2 HE. The Hall Effect switches feel incredibly smooth and precise, making it great for both gaming and typing. Adjustable actuation works perfectly and really makes a difference in fast-paced games. Build quality is solid, the keyboard feels sturdy, and the typing experience is consistent and comfortable. Latency is excellent, and everything feels responsive and accurate. Overall, it’s an outstanding keyboard if you’re looking for Hall Effect technology, customization, and top-tier performance. Highly recommended.

Best Keyboard I've Ever Owned
Absolutely love this keyboard. I was quite hesitant about spending this much on any keyboard, but I can honestly say, it's worth every penny. The keys have a great feedback without being loud and clacky. More of a soft thunk sound, like a gasket keyboard. It feels extremely solid, well made, high quality, and looks beautiful with the wood accents. The Windows keys were easy to swap out. Love that I can get replacement keys, switches, and that the keyboard is generally repairable. I use it in usb cord mode so I can wake my laptop from sleep mode (which I keep folded).. so I can't speak to the Bluetooth connectivity or 2.4 wireless modes, but I'd be shocked if there were any issues there. There's a ton of LED color options, but I just keep it on a low key setting - not into the gamer flashing rainbow swirls thing. But the LEDs are highly customizable, I think there are about 20 different modes, and the brightness and hue can be adjusted.

This isn’t just a keyboard—it’s an experience. And now I’m typing like royalty.
I think I might be in love—with a keyboard. The Keychron K2 HE is just that good. From the moment I unboxed it, I knew this wasn’t your average typing tool. It’s perfectly weighted—not so light it slides around like a nervous chihuahua, and not so heavy it feels like it needs its own gym membership. It’s solid, stable, and a joy to use. Typing on it? Absolute bliss. Each keystroke delivers a smooth, rich “thock”—like tapping little velvet pillows that somehow boost productivity. It’s quiet enough for shared spaces, but still gives that satisfying tactile feedback that reminds you: yes, you are better than membrane keyboards. Aesthetically? Stunning. Sleek design, tasteful wood accents, and a look that says “I read Wired and have good taste.” The wireless connection is rock-solid—Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz—and the battery lasts so long I started forgetting it even has a battery. Customization is next-level. Adjustable actuation and dual-function keys make it feel like the keyboard was custom-made for me. And here's the kicker: I loved it so much, I went out and bought the Keychron K4 HE QMK Wireless Gaming Custom Mechanical Keyboard too. Because when something this good exists in a bigger size, you upgrade your obsession.

This keyboard is awesome. The hall effect switches feel smooth and responsive — perfect for both gaming and typing. The keys have a satisfying feel without being too loud, and the rapid trigger makes fast inputs feel effortless. It’s honestly changed how precise my key presses feel during games. I love how flexible the wireless options are. I can use it on Bluetooth with my laptop or switch to 2.4 GHz when I want zero lag for gaming. Setup was super easy and it stays connected without any weird dropouts. The build quality feels solid and lightweight, but not cheap. The layout is great — 75% is the perfect balance of compact and functional, and I don’t miss the numpad at all. Battery life has been fantastic so far and holds up longer than I expected. If you want a high-quality keyboard that feels great to type on, plays great in games, and gives you wireless freedom without compromising performance, this is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

First H.E keyboard, so far so good. Typing on it feels smooth, and pleasant to the ears. So glad to have bought this. I now can't go back to keyboards that don’t produce this deep rich thocky sound with every key-press, nevermind membrane keyboards (I’m honestly surprised that membrane keyboards still exist). The deep thocky sound with every keystroke makes it sound so good it'll make you wish you'd bought this sooner (I know I do). I’ve been using brown mechanical switches (with a brief stint with linear keys) this whole time, not knowing there were other switch types than just the well-known reds, blues and browns; let alone H.E keyboards - now I can stop searching. Once you hear the deep 'thock' of this keyboard as you type, other keyboards won't sound as good - especially membrane and linear keyboards - and if you do try other keyboards, you'd be wishing you were using this instead (I know I do. I LOVE the sound this keyboard makes when typing). The only downside is that the battery drains really fast, so that's why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. If the battery life was longer, it would have been a perfect 5. I wish there was also a way to turn off the backlight - maybe that would prolong the battery a bit between charges - as I don't need it (can touch type, so typing in low light is not a problem for me).

A huge upgrade from my old keyboard. It has a nice thock sound. Switches are heavier than the typical reds, but I was able to get used to them pretty quickly. The rapid trigger feels solid. This really up my game, especially in osu.
