Unfortunately, I did not keep this long because my cat cheats. Opal, who is my calico would sit in the middle of this thing and wait for the ball to come to her! This is a great design, but it's not real quiet if it runs into something, such as too close to a wall. Now some balls don't come with a string-like cord (simulates a rodent tail) and a bumper guard, making them louder and driving fur baby parents up the wall. This one does has a bumper which explains why it's quieter than some of the other balls out there. The ball has a USB-C input, but I don't remember if it comes with a charging cord. I do know it did not come with the AC Adapter. It's not super thick it's more like a thin sheet of plastic, like a disposable party table cloth, but it's durable enough to resist claw holes- at least it was with Opal. My other two cats just watched it- I don't know if they didn't like the idea that it ran on its own inside the plastic. My only thing about this toy and it's kind of minor which is why I didn't dock it a star, is sometimes it's hard to find the velcro opening to pull the ball out of the sheet (for lack of a better word.) The outer sheet is designed to mimic a rodent underneath a bed sheet or a piece of plastic, so it is not designed to hold air or water.

The battery in the ‘ball’ doesn't charge after 3 times. Its a great idea. My cats enjoyed playing with it while it worked.

Ma chatte de 6 ans et ma chatte de 8 ans adorent ce jeu. Il reste tranquille de longue période et se remet en marche comme ça. Ceci intrigue mes chattes qui tentent de l'attraper. Super jeu, surtout qu'on ne le perd pas sous les meubles lol

The interactive cat toy in a pouch is loads of fun. The cats really get rowdy with this. Sometimes I set up two in a room just to see them all go 'bananas'. Gift one(or two) of these to your friends with cats. ALSO, Suggest you build an 'arsenal' of cat toys. Rotate through them. Don't let the cats use the same toys for too long. Cats are highly intelligent and get bored. Playing Keeps them from boredom and bad behavior. They required USB-C charing. They hold a charge for hours. The program is quite random with squeaks, chirps and movement. It engages the cat's curiousity and arouses its playful side.
