Great product and the color last as long as the other more expensive hair colors. I use it to cover my grey in the front only and live a little bit longer then 25 minutes. I also don't wash my hair every day. I really like it and the price is great. I've tried the other store brands that cost more, but this revlon colorsilk works the same as the other.

I’ve used this hair dye a few times and it’s a great option for the price. The color came out rich and even, and it covered grays pretty well. I also liked that my hair felt softer than expected afterward, especially with the included conditioner. The application process was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. It does have the typical strong dye smell, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, a reliable at-home color that gives good results without spending salon prices.

As someone who has used a different but extremely popular brand of hair color for nearly three decades I wanted to write this review in case it helps anyone else on the fence about trying something new and far less expensive. I am half-Asian with thinning hair (thank you menopause) that is increasingly becoming more gray and, because my natural hair color is very dark (almost black) my roots begin to make a dreadful appearance every two weeks or so - to the point where I hated leaving the house the end of week 2 because I was so self-conscious about my appearance. I have tried countless root touchup methods but none of them work as well as just fully covering the roots with permanent color. My dilemma is that too much coloring isn't necessarily a good thing plus it does get expensive (although not as expensive as frequent visits to the salon would be). I decided to just go ahead and give Revlon ColorSilk a try and ladies: I'm so glad I did! The color is perfect, my hair is silky soft and the price is fabulous. The Pros: Beautiful color Easy application Gorgeous results The Cons: Doesn't come with a tube of conditioner - only a tiny tear packet for one-time use Doesn't come with a comb-style applicator Either way, the cons are not enough to deter me from buying another 3-box package of this again. The results coupled with the cost savings are worth it to me!

I loved it! The color was even for me, not splotchy. It was a little darker than I expected, but that's good because it started to fade after just a few weeks. It left my hair feeling soft, thanks to the conditioner. I will say, I miss when they came with a tube of conditioner, that lasted a while. This little packet lasted for about 4 washes.

Here is a before and after photo of the product… I had to use two boxes because I have very thick hair, but I love the natural highlights that created to get back to my natural color. I have a lot of gray and I’m only in my 30s and the color is so nice that I can still leave my hair unstyled and it looks good completely natural… also it says for grays to leave it in for 35 minutes and I only left it in for 25 minutes because I could tell it was getting very very dark and worried me so I’m happy I did that cause I think it left some natural highlights. Also, the conditioner left my hair, super soft and silky, even though before it wasn’t soft and silky because I was dying already dyed hair.

Love this for gray coverage. My hair grows quickly so the price is right when the grays show up!

Nice product. Smells pretty good. Left my hair feeling smooth and shiny. Only complaint is it’s a bit thin upon application.
