I am a Mccormick fan, I am also a fan of keeping spices whole and grinding as needed. Nothing beats freshness than grinding your own. I needed a set for my camping food supply so went looking for smaller versions. While I wanted to give this 5 stars because the content deserves it, I just had to remove one star because of the top. The mechanism works flawlessly but the cover top just does NOT stay on. It's a design flaw where the catch lip is just not thick enough to keep the cap on the bottle. It's annoying especially when used for travel. Otherwise great product.

I absolutely love this McCormick Grinder Essentials Variety Pack. The selection is perfect for everyday cooking and table use, and every grinder delivers fresh flavor that tastes noticeably better than pre-ground spices. The Black Peppercorn and Peppercorn Medley are especially flavorful, and both salts add a nice finishing touch to vegetables, pasta dishes, soups, avocado toast, and so many other meals. I also really like that the grinders are adjustable, so you can choose a fine or coarse grind (see my video) depending on what you’re making. The bottles feel sturdy, the spices taste fresh, and the variety makes this set an excellent value for the price. Another huge plus for me is the glass bottle design. While McCormick labels them as non-refillable, many people carefully reuse the grinders for other spices after they’re empty, which gives the jars extra life instead of just throwing them away. I really appreciate that added usefulness and the fact that the glass bottles are recyclable as well. This is an easy five-star purchase for me, and I would definitely buy this set again.

These grinders are fantastic. Nothing like seeing exactly how much your want with each gentle grind. The selection of peppers and salts are a great addition and add a nice, fresh flavor to your dish.
