Remarkable
4.7 stars - slight debit because arched saw blade is slightly on the thin side and thus flexes if sawing forces are not planar - nonetheless if you stay square it performs extremely well - the blades are sharp - I removed Douglas Fir branches (3-4") and two Madrona trees (5 and 9" diameter) that were otherwise inaccessible on a steep embankment. My version has the reinforced/upgraded stanchion/couplers since the original ones reportedly break. The poles securely interlock with each other via screw threads and depressible interlock pins to prevent backing out - and are light enough that if you have decent build you can loft the cutters... It is a workout for the thick stuff - took 15 min to get through the large Madrona - but it cut sure and steady through the hard wood. For $55 its a steal and I highly recommend.

Poor quality of nuts and bolts
The blades are sharp and perform well during use. However, the accompanying nuts and bolts are of noticeably poor quality, making the installation process difficult. As a result, the blades do not secure properly and tend to wobble during operation, which affects overall performance and safety.

Reaches way up there
Scissors work well Gets to hard to reach places Little wobbely when extended to 27 feet Overall good purchase

Good value and safer than using an extension ladder.
For the price of 49 dollars it’s a great deal. I was able to reach and cut palm tree branches easily. The saw blades are thin but worked without an issue. I like the fact I can get to branches without a ladder. I was also able to cut branches on an angle so I didn’t have to worry about being hit by a cut branch. I gave it a 5 because of the price. The bag is convenient to store the poles and blades. I bought a second one to give as a gift. I had an estimate of 400 dollars to have my palms trimmed and I was able to do it my self with a power pole saw and the dreamt saw to allow me to reach high branches. One use of the saw more than paid for itself. I have not tried the saw on hard wood trees like oak tree's, but I can recommend it for palms.

The metal just snapped. Definitely not good quality.
Worked well until it just snapped at the top. I cant use the poles at all. No extra rivets or nothing. Just the 2 screws snapped. Only got to use a few times. Clearly the materials were poor or assembled poorly. Metal shouldn't snapped like that. So, now I have to buy a new one. Not buying from these guys again. No way to contact them to get it fixed. Only lasted 6 months. Never even pulled all the poles out the bag.

Light weight and not much flex at max height!
Great product! Sharp blades...was worried I was going to have trouble holding it up with all the extensions attached, to my surprise, i did not!! Well worth the purchase!!

Not durable
After just a couple of uses the blade and the fiber part is splitting and handle is bending. Not really worth the spend. I was looking for something that would last at least a couple of years and help us het through some projects.

Great concept but critical components cheaply made
Great concept and impressive reach, however the most critical parts (neck of the saw) are connected with flimsy rivets and cheap plastic. These critical parts are expected to hold up to the immense forces of cutting 8” branches with a 3-story long saw. The heads of the rivets sheared off after second use.
