Very good tool for cutting keys. I have cut 3 car keys using this product without any problems and I had never cut a key before. Recommend watching a few videos first and I suggest as the videos instructed in taking not try taking large cuts but to gradually cut to the required depth. Once you have the key cut using this device then make sure you use a needle file to debur the edges. I would recommend this device to anyone who wants to cut their own keys.

Took my time to cut a new car key using my broken old key as a template , held in place with mole grip worked first time starting the car , this key cutter cuts very well a good clean cut.

I'm a bit disappointed it's actually quite hard to get it right!!!? it also bends the blanks when you apply pressure to cut although I have managed to cut one key accurately enough to turn on my EBike ignition! Update!!!!! This is actually quite good there's a bit more than just chomping away but after a couple of youtub videos it much easier! And with the amount some keys cost to cut I have saved my money with the two I have done myself 👍

Not cut a good working key yet but will keep trying and practising with it
