1st make sure your outlet is working using another electronic device such as a radio or lamp not being a smart Alec but sometimes the obvious. Then there’s a 3 position switch on the left side, the bottom setting is on or off the next setting up turns the light show on while working and the top position turns the lights off but it still works. If that doesn’t work it’s broken. My thoughts. Good luck
