I took off one star each on Accuracy and Easy to read because I use them for Aquariums... I swear that I have reviewed these before and did this very same thing, but according to the powers that be I have not. So, big deal you use them on aquariums instead of brewing and whatever else it is they can do. (I didn't forget, I just never committed it to memory lol). Technically; it isn't that BIG of a deal using them on fish tanks. The issue arises when your fish "care" what temp their water is, especially when they need the accuracy to be within 1-2 degrees (at the extreme). The only CON I have yet to find regarding these thermometers is that they have a 4-degree variance to each new measured number. [71 - 75 - 79 - 82(not 4) - 86 - 90 °F] Keep in mind that this makes the °C variance only 2 degrees. Other than that they suffer from the same problem that every other thermometer like them suffers from... With any backlighting at all the temperatures become difficult to read. EASILY fixed of course... Turn on your light, or grab a flashlight, or smartphone, whatever you choose just so long as you make the light in front brighter than what's behind. So, as the title says, I use them. I am a repeat customer and I will continue to be for as long as the price is fair, and the therm is accurate. You expect to sacrifice minimal accuracy of course when you opt to use this type of thermometer over a mercury model, but I'd hate to live on the difference. Good quality item, and IMHO they offer us great customer service, That is rare these days.

They only read up to 90 degrees fahrenheit, but they stick on really well and last a good while before they peel off themselves.

These are accurate. I tape them to wine bottles and I know when my wine is at the correct serving temperature and when it needs to go back in the refrigerator. If your Chardonnay needs to be served at 50 degrees F it can warm up quickly sitting on the counter. I keep my fridge cold, my wine needs time to come up to a good drinking temperature. Great product, recommended. P.S. if you use the adhesive backing that comes on them they are one use only. You cannot remove them without destroying the thermometer. That's why I scotch tape them on.

Seems fairly accurate although I didn’t check against another thermometer. Using for pet lizard cage. Just wish it had closer /finer increments like every even # 80-82-84-86.... but it is as pictured

Well, some reviewers will complain about anything. What do you want for $1/piece, stick on temperature readers? Try finding a good thermometer for that price. I am using this on my plastic carboys for wort fermentation and am very pleased with them.

Very easy to read. Haven’t had an issue with them peeling off. I just wish they came in a slightly smaller pack. I like that they are horizontal & they don’t really interfere with the view of my turtle.

I had gotten another type but they never told me to take off the clear film on the top, whereas this one did. I also like that the numbers are horizontal.

Didn't come with any instructions on how to decipher the temperature. What color means what? Two columns have colors, a dark blue and a green to yellow color. There are no reading instructions listed with the package, nor in the Amazon listing at all. I was able to get help in a kombucha group. The 4 degree interval is too large in my opinion to warrant buying these. I would be able to determine that through ambient air. On the positive they do adhere well, and the horizontal layout is nice. If you hand wash your container they seem like they would last a long time.
