For $250-300, I was CERTAIN this thing would be a wonderful investment that does it all, especially with the positive reviews. However, I quickly learned how mistaken I was. It microwaves fairly well, but that's about it. The bake and air fry functions are terrible and do not crisp up food barely at all or in the timeframe it should (takes 2-3x as long). Also, there are numerous function and power options within each button setting and you have to click through and turn dial through all these options to get to the cooking method, temperature and power level you need. If you mess up along the way, you have to start completely over. If you also hold a button slightly too long or forget to select certain options along the way, you will unadvertantly select the wrong cooking method or power which will also mess up the cook on your food. This device is great in theory, but terrible in execution. Immediately returned it.

I like this microwave. It cooks quickly , however , air frying takes longer than an actual air fryer does and there’s a learning curve to use it for baking as well, but overall it works well. Steam does tend to build up in it but it’s easy to clean with the stainless interior. Overall I’m pleased with it.

These are "meh" A perfect microwave, but cooking and something as simple making toast, is complicated. It can be done, but a lot of tweaking to air fry bake, and you may be dealing with some burning hot metals. Learning curve and caution needed. Its not just this brand/model, but the small infra red element doesn't brown or crisp well.....TRICKY. This has potential for replacing more than one appliance and space saving.....good for a camper or cabin. Also this one is not inverter.......which has some real advantages.

When our microwave broke, I took it as an opportunity to replace it with something like this that served multiple purposes to keep my counters clear, but have more cooking options. We previously had a small single serve air fryer that worked great, but was only big enough to cook one serving at a time, so this seemed promising for my family of 4. I’ve made many meals on the air frying settings on this thing, and the one constant is that it never cooks according to the time given in any air fryer recipe. It feels like I need to set the temperature higher and the time for longer (sometimes twice as long as a recipe calls for) in order for it to cook all the way through. This is a little scary when cooking chicken, as now I worry I’m not cooking chicken all the way through. If there is a trick to this, I’d love to find out, because I really do want to love this thing. The microwave itself works fine.

Not sure I should expect so much from a product that claims to be both an air fryer and microwave. The microwave works perfectly and am happy with that ... but could have saved money if that is all I wanted. And the air fryer function (and regular oven) certainly work - but not well. I mean yeah it heats up, but it does not cook evenly like my other air fryer did. The bottom never gets done which suggests to me that the convection part of the oven does not do a good job. You would think it could do something comparable to a toaster oven, but it does not. You can't even toast bread. Thought it was funny when I watched one of the un-boxings on YT and they were demonstrating toast ... they never showed the bottom. Now I know why. And I don't like the single control knob design. It feels flimsy and it just isn't convenient. Shouldn't be difficult to set the temp and time. There is plenty of space on the control panel to just have a touch key pad for setting time. Knob worked great for temperature, so no complaints there.

You won’t like this microwave! It certainly is NOT user friendly. It takes 4 steps to turn the microwave on. You have to select microwave, then hit the start button, then turn a dial to are the time and then hit start. Fine, I can live with that! The air fryer takes forever to cook anything. I cooked 4 hamburgers in it and 9 minutes later on 375, they weren’t even defrosted yet. Another 9 minutes and they were defrosted. Another 9 minutes and that side was done and another 9 minutes on the other side and finally they were done. The second batch I tried cooking the under the broiler. I had to put them on a rack and put them very close to the broiler and finally 25 minutes later they were finally done. The key pad is very hard to read. The panel is black with hardly any transition from the letters on the key pad. The broiler is useless and so is the air fryer. The worst appliance I have bought in 50 years. My wife does a lot of her cooking in our old air fryer and it worked great for many years. Think twice about buying this oven because you will be sending it back!

I live with my children and prefer to cook in my room rather than use the stairs to access the kitchen. This 8 in 1 appliance does what my Ninja Possibilities cannot. It has really increased my possibilities in cooking. I have found it to be easy to operate. I haven't finished my learning curve, but am enjoying it very much.

NO OWNERS MANUEL OR COOK BOOK SENT FROM AMAZON WITH MY PACKAGE. I CALLED AMAZON TO SEE HOW THEY CAN HELP ME ( I thought maybe it was a mistake and they could possibly send it to me ) WHICH I PAID OVER $200 for, INSTEAD IM TOLD TO WATCH A “ VIDEO “ OR TO CONTACT TOSHIBA ( called them first & sat on hold for 2hrs before being disconnected!!! ) THIS IS A NIGHTMARE, if you get this “ Toshiba 8-1 AIRFRY / BROIL / MICROWAVE COMBO “ I HOPE FOR YOUR SAKE YOU GET THE PROPER USERS MANUEL AND COOKBOOK BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE THIS THING ! I DID GOOGLE THE MICROWAVE AND PRINTED A 48page owners manual ONLY TO FIND OUT IT DIDNT TELL ME THE AUTO SETS FOR TIME & TEMPERATURE! I AM A “ALMOST DAILY”SHOPPER ON AMAZON / CARD HOLDER AND THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PURCHASE EVER AND WITH NO HELP FROM AMAZON. I absolutely love this 8-in-1 Combi Microwave! A common issue with other combo microwaves is that they’re underpowered—but not this one. You can adjust the temperature to fit your needs, which makes a big difference. Just make sure to read the instructions before using it so you’re not caught off guard. Lo compre para mi mamá y la verdad si es algo complicado . Es de tener que estar leyendo las instrucciones solo para que este en la función correcta . Y no se le puede poner tiempo especifico en el microondas solo incrementos de 5 segundos . Y tarda mucho en calentar . Por ejemplo un vaso de agua en otro micro se calentaba con 45 segundos y este necesita hasta 2.5 minutos para que caliente igual . Por la complejidad lo voy a tener que regresar
