This safe is the perfect size to tuck into really any space and it looks great as well. The ease of having the drop shoot is nice as well so you don’t have to open it to get something into it. It has a very easy to program front panel and a simple setup. It’s very sturdy for its size and feels very safe and secure. We store important stuff inside so having it feel safe is very important. As described. Very solid, functional dropbox for ~$100. Planning to use it as a secure mailbox on covered porch. The most secure mailbox in our town 😆. Will fit packages and bubble-packs up to about 2" x 6" x 11-1/4" or 1-1/2" x 12" x 11-1/4" Depends on how persistent the person inserting objects is. Large, thick flats might not drop completely, blocking subsequent deposits. If you need a safe without the drop hatch, Harbor Freight's might be preferable. PROs: - Very solid, functional dropbox for the price - Recessed door surfaces prevent prying - Sidewinder keys OKs: - Emergency power supply is proprietary. Uses AA batteries and 2.5 mm round connector. USB-C would be nicer. - Anti-fishing teeth seem quite effective (a pro could probably work around them) - Dimpled glossy finish seems good. Few defects. Tough. Powder coat? - Interior light is handy. Stays on for 30 seconds after unlocking. - Battery compartment is slightly awkward & ill-fitting - Vibration alarm is of little use (see Note 1) - Manual is reasonably clear and helpful. - Keypad tones are loud! You can mute them. - Key replacement service is offered (but no contact info or even brand disclosure on the safe or in the manual). - Load clanky echoes when operating...could dampen with some foam. CONs: - Unbranded product - No stated warranty - Fireproof? No info on *how long* it will protect contents from 4200º heat. Two minutes? This safe has NO insulation in the walls. - - - Notes - - - Note 1: The vibration alarm is not very loud, compared to what might be causing the vibrations (hammer, crowbar, saw). Also, it resets to OFF every time you open the safe. You would need to activate the alarm after every safe opening.
