Can you use this on an AGM or lead acid battery too?

This charger has the special programming for charging and protecting Li batteries. CTEK Offers other excellent chargers for other type batteries. The short answer is no.

Why does this "lithium charger" have a "desulphation" charging phase?

Good catch :) the diagram on this page is incorrect for this charger. Go pick up the manual (its online). Step 1 is ACCEPT. I've been very happy with mine, 2+ years ownership.

Can i leave it on all winter or should i remove it from time to time? i have an f80 m3 as another individual. thanks!

I keep mine hooked up all the time when the vehicle is not in use. I have mine for about two years without any issues. The CTEK is build to keep battery at optimum level, never over charging, but maintaining. You shouldn't have any issues leaving hooked during the winter.

Do i have to buy multiple chargers for acid,agm and lithium?

You can use same charger for acid and agm but lithium charger is only for lithium batteries
