Must have in a first aid kit
I hope this review will help others. My family uses this to dress cuts and scrapes for years. Once the dressing is prepared let it work at least 24-36 hours to see miraculous results. It is expensive BUT it gets the job done. I tried cheaper substitutes that did not give the same result ...... at all. Must have in a first aid kit.

Great
The wound care center was using this on my husband's diabetic foot ulcer. They gave us some, but we ran out. This was a great price for a great product. Healed up nicely.

Finally...healing!
Ended up with wound dehiscence after surgery. Went weeks with no apparent healing and was losing hope. A friend recommended Acticoat and, with my surgeon's blessing, I tried it. The wounds have healed more in 1.5 weeks than the previous 4 weeks combined. This stuff is a miracle!! Depending on the size of your wound, one package can last quite a while so don't worry about a little bit of initial sticker shock (it's really not that bad though)

What my doctor ordered
My Dermatologist requested I purchase this for a wound that has been slow to heal. I am not sure what this particular gauze does but it seems to be helping. My only problem is the length of time is takes to receive this product from the company especially because it is a medical product. My next order will take a week to or two to arrive. SAD

This is used for chronic open wound covering in our case
Surgeon recommended this and we have used it during a long healing process. You can cut it to fit the wound as it is supposed to only be over the wound and not over healed areas. I purchase the large size and cut appropriate size each time we redress the wound.

Great product to keep wounds from getting infected. It does leave a black residue on the skin which is the silver which sloughs away eventually. It works extremely well.
