GIVI BF11 Tanklock Tank Ring

Fit my 2018 KTM 1290 super adventure s perfectly. This is the best and easiest to use tank ring on the market. And also the cheapest.

Got my oem ducati tank bag but somehow i received a ring suitable for other model. This worked perfectly. My only “complaint” is that this kit does not have the screw “spacer/distancer” However everything fits as expected

This is a great little mount to hold the matching tank bag.

Will NOT fit 2010-2012 Ducati Multistrada 1200. Provided fasteners bottom out in gas tank before actually securing things down. Had to process a return; seller ill equiped to assist with anything.

Was easy to install on my R1250GS and is pretty heavy-duty. Holds the tanklock bag very well and keeps it from scratching my tank. Very satisfied with the product.

Placed the adapter on the tank of a R1100RT. So far - so good. Only one minor issue. The bolts in the package are M5x40mm. Seems to be 2mm to long to tighten adapter and ring. Ruined one of the button head bolts with the require allen wrench. Hard to find a replacement here in San Diego. Most shops have M5 only up to 30mm, by far too short.

Used this on my second bike, for Givi Tankbag. Easy to install, but pricey.

This is just the metal half ring that goes inside the actual plastic ring that the tank bag mounts to. This was not clear. You won’t mount your tank bag with just this.

Der Adapter ist wirklich absolut problemlos zu installieren. Ich brauchte ihn für eine BMW R1200 GS LC, BJ 2014. Zur Installation muss man lediglich die vorderen 4 Schrauben am Tankeinfüllstutzen rausdrehen, den GIVI Kunststoffring, der beim Tankrucksack dabei war und den Adapter festschrauben - das war's. Man muss die Originalschrauben gegen die mitgelieferten, etwas längeren Schrauben, ersetzen. Das Ganze dauert kaum 2 Minuten, dann kann man den GIVI Tankrucksatz befestigen (in meinem Fall ein ST602). Dieser rastet problemlos in der Halterung ein und sitzt bombenfest. Mit einem Zug an der Rucksackentriegelung ist der Rucksack wieder frei. Das Gute ist, dass der Tankrucksack den Tank nicht berührt, sondern ein paar Millimeter darüber "schwebt". Dadurch kann die Tanklackierung nicht zerkratzt werden. Eine Superlösung! Man kann sich zwar darüber streiten, ob der Preis für ein gestanztes Stück Blech mit 4 Schrauben gerechtfertigt ist (eher nicht), aber weil die Lösung so perfekt funktioniert, gebe ich trotzdem die volle Punktzahl.

It is described as "tanklock tank ring", however it is only a horseshoe shaped piece of metal to secure the "tankring" to the fuel filler cap. Also the price is high for what it is. A handy man with a plasma cutter could easily fashion this. Anyway my client is happy to pay as the Givi tankbag is necessary and cost a lot to buy initially... the tankring is supplied inside the bag when you buy it. On some bike filler caps the ring may need some slight modifications to fit properly. All in all, a good fit.
