I bought them for a different reason The size is perfect, they are durable And will work in our camping kit Use for dipping or appetizers, seafood, Sandwiches Just picking up light food items When you need to serve something & Not use your hands

Works best when you're not dipping an entire treat
I tried this making oreo balls and it was a big mess. It didn't work for that- looking pretty and professional- but it will be great for dipping 1/2 of strawberry or cookie or whatever.

Works well for what it is intended for. But I think it is kind of clunky and I dropped several pieces as I was coating them in chocolate. Might be me but I think it would be a better product if the tongs were metal or had a more firm gripping tension.
