USB Power Cable for Fire Stick, Adapter Cord Plug Replacement, Powers Amazon FireStick Directly from TV USB Port, Eliminates The Need for a Charger

I have a wall mounted TV and it looks pretty sweet aside from the power cables hanging out from the bottom running to the power outlet. So I got a fancy white cloth-covered extension cord to run up the wall and plug all that crap into. But that left a rats nest of cables behind my TV ... which was metaphysically disturbing. I got one of these power cords to reduce the nest of cables behind my TV and it works great. It also has the added benefit of turning the Fire Stick off when the TV is off. Which means that I no longer have crazy TV sounds coming out of my speakers when the dog gets ahold of the Amazon remote. (Though now, if the dog gets the remote, I don't find out until the remote is in pieces all over the back yard). SO Yeah, good product, good investment ... and now I have an extra USB & Power supply to replace the one my dog chewed to bits that went to my Alexa.

Periodically, my FireStick has to be restarted for random odd behavior -the sound is off or an app won't open. I read that if the Stick overheats, this is a likely cause. Since the Stick has it's own power, it's also one more plug on the surge protector. Then Amazon messaged me about this USB adapter. New TVs with USB inputs offer the low watt power that the FireStick need so no more overheating. AND the Stick is off whenever the TV is off, duh. I wish I had gotten these much sooner.

It works but always states there’s not enough power to supply the Fire Stick. If I press ok, it still proceeds.

I was happy to find this product! It is a great tool to keep all the cables from getting tangled with the HDMI and power cord. It is campatibile with all my televisions, TCL, Panasonic and Samsung. The color and picture quality seem to not change from going with it or without it. No batteries necessary as it plugs right back into the TV.

Don't waste your money on this cord. Bought it, plugged it in... it gave the impression of working just fine, so turned it off and went about my day. Got home, decided to watch some Netflix... turned it on.... firestick loaded up... scrolled down to Netflix, clicked on it and the screen immediately went back to the initial loading screen... waited for it to load in again... and same thing.... now all it does is load in, shows the home screen, the reboots itself over and over and over. Can't access any of the apps at all... my firestick just is stuck in a loop... thought perhaps it was the firestick, so pulled off this cord, plugged the main power cord back in and everything works fine. So thought perhaps just that tv... attached my firestick to my additional 2 tv in my house and same thing on all three, firestick works fine with regular power cord... but this cord just makes it loop in a reboot frenzy. Don't waste your money..... this product/company is just stealing it.

This cable keeps the cable clutter at a minimum. It works like a charm with my firesticks

Works great. Don't nees to charge our firestick with this. Everyone should have one if you have a firestick.

This is a convenient gadget to use one less AC outlet; as the Firestick now gets powered by this cord. Could be a little longer; but have been able to use it on 3 different TVs, so I guess its long enough. Very happy I got this, as the Firestick seems to turn off now when not in use or the TV is off. With its own power supply, it seemed to stay hot all the time

The biggest problem will always be the usb power level on the TV port. It will be useless if the TV cannot power the firestick.
