Epiphone Les Paul Tribute, Ebony
Guitar shipped as a box within a box and a tiny amount of packing paper to quell the rocking. As you can see from the pictures, it comes in a separate bag (Two actually. One is an overbag and the one the guitar is inside is a little thicker and intended to help with scratch resisting. It has cardboard flanks to prevent the neck from moving around too much in transit and banging the headstock. There were some little plastic sticky covers over the back of the tuners and on the bridge pickup. It has a little foam protection ring around the pickup selector switch for transit. Nothing was broken, dented, scratched, or otherwise off when I received it. It only came with some stickers and promotional material so if you need allen wrenches for adjustments, you will need to get them separately. The guitar feels well balanced and the action seems pretty nice for the 10s it came with. I haven't bought a guitar in a really long time so I don't have much to compare it with but I will say that it was exactly what I was hoping for. It sounds great and it plays great. I really like the looks of this guitar as well. I looked at a lot of guitars in this price range looking at various fixed bridge style guitars before settling on this one and I'm glad I went with this. It's a great guitar. I'm an intermediate player who took a break so this is a perfect guitar for me to get back into it. Good guitar. Get yourself one if you're thinking of it.

Maximum bang for minimum bank...
I don't think you are going to find a better guitar under $500. Like most lower end (Gibson and Epiphone Les Pauls, I had to make a couple of adjustments to the intonation, and slightly enlarge the string slots in the nut to get the E and G strings to stay in tune. String height was perfect. It plays and sounds amazing. I wish my first guitar had been half this good. The only con is the weight. It's a tad on the heavy side, but mahogany is always heavy. Even that is a minor complaint and doesn't adversely affect sustain. If you are looking for a great beginner to intermediate guitar, and love the Gibson sound without the Gibson price tag, look no further. This is definitely it.

Great guitar!
Great value and quality for the price! Excellent choice for those who want a Les Paul style guitar but don’t want to spend the money.

Good quality and sound.
The sound and the quality were definitely great. I found it stays in tune longer than my other guitars. The neck and body are comfortable. I was very satisfied.

So disappointed
I would like to say it was a well set up, great sounding functional guitar. The only thing I can say is it looked great and could be great wall art. First: headstock to neck was cracked on both sides. Second: could not be tuned (of course, cracked neck). Third: the fret ends (all of them) were so sharp they would slice your hand going up and down the fret board. I say add a little more money and buy something playable.

Impressive 😍
Arrived fast, perfect condition; this price point very impressive. Gorgeous and great finish. Classic mahogany solid, just working out best setup for my preference but she's one sweet number 🎂🤠
