The diameter of the connector is indeed 4mm, but the threads welded to the end of the connector are in fact 5.7mm wide. Therefore you cannot fit this connector through a coupling with tight specifications. In my case I had a 5mm coupling, and this "4mm" connector would not fit through it. Disappointed.
