Beef Tallow and Zinc Sun Balm

I’ve been on the hunt for a trustworthy tallow sun balm, and I’m glad to say I’ve finally found one. This balm is a solid choice if you’re looking to move away from sunscreens with questionable chemicals.The product is a bit thicker, so you do need to take your time rubbing it in, and if you apply too much, it can leave a slight white cast. However, the extra effort is worth it for the peace of mind that comes with using minimal and natural ingredients. It’s fragrance-free and leaves my skin with a nice glow without peeling or flaking, even after reapplying.Overall, it’s a reliable sun protection option that aligns with my preference for cleaner skincare products. I've only used it a couple of times, but so far, I love it. It's a small jar but I've noticed that a little goes a long way and it rubs in so nicely and leaves my face feeling very soft. It does leave just a little bit of a white cast from the zinc, but it gets less so the more you rub it in and I kind of like a little of the white cast because I feel that helps hide any redness on my face. between using this and the tallow face cream I get from Traditional Nutrients, my face is looking and feeling so much better. I actually feel comfortable now not wearing makeup. I've been wanting to replace all my face products with products that have only natural and minimal ingredients and so far, I am very happy with this sunscreen.

This will not protect you from getting sunburn. I was recently in Hawaii and the first 5 days was using Mad Hippie brand spf 40. On my last day since I had built a tan I decided to use this one since I had also brought it with me. I was in the sun for about 3 hours. I applied this product throughout the day. I was in the water and also sitting in a chair on the beach. Each time I put more on, so I wouldn't get burnt. This product provided zero protection. I wouldn't recommend this product.
