Best budget audiophile closed back headphones
It's not often a product lives up to the hype, but that's exactly what the FiiO FT1s do! I was looking for a good, closed-back pair of headphones at a reasonable price, and these have exceeded my expectations in every way. Sound Quality & Performance The sound is simply superb for the money. There's plenty of well-controlled bass that delivers satisfying impact without muddying up the mids, which sound great and full of detail. The treble is smooth and clear, avoiding any harshness or sibilance, which makes for a non-fatiguing, extended listening session. I'm pairing these with a FiiO K7 DAC/Amp, and they sound incredible, offering a sense of detail and clarity that rivals much more expensive models. The soundstage is also impressive for a closed-back design, providing good imaging for both music and gaming. Build Quality & Comfort The build quality is exceptional. The use of real American black walnut wood for the earcups gives them a premium, high-end look and feel that you just don't expect at this price. The headphones feel very well-made and durable. Comfort is top-notch. Despite their solid build, they are relatively lightweight (340g) and the weight is spread very well, allowing for long sessions without any fatigue. The large, over-ear cups with breathable fabric material form a good seal and are very comfortable. Features & Accessories The inclusion of two high-quality, silver-plated oxygen-free copper cables (both 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced terminations are included) and a sturdy carry case is a fantastic bonus and adds significant value. They are also easy to drive, working well with a variety of audio sources like a phone or a dongle DAC. Verdict For anyone looking for a great sounding, comfortable, and well-built pair of closed-back headphones, the FiiO FT1 are a no-brainer. They offer amazing value and genuinely punch well above their weight in performance and aesthetics. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Value and Sound Quality
I am incredibly impressed with the FT1's. Having watched all of the YouTube praise I thought I would try them for myself. The packaging, carry case and accessories (2x cables, adaptor etc) are all high quality. I also have a pair of B&O HX's (roughly £450ish) and the quality of the FT1 case is at least on par. I read a review which mentioned it was tricky to know which cable to attach to which side but looks like FiiO listened as there is now clear L & R on the cable ends as well as inside the ear cups. Being wood, I expected the headphones to be heavy but they are surprisingly light. Not flimsy... just very well made and comfortable. The band adjustment is a little stiff and I am worried that the metal adjuster will mark the leather headband but so far it hasn't/ Sound quality is really subjective, but to my ears they sound great. Again comparing to my HX's, the FT1's sound better but appreciate it isn't really fair to compare Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones to wired close backs. When they first arrived I connected to my phone using a cheap ugreen 3.5mm to lightening dongle and tried a couple of streaming services. They sounded best with Apple Music but PRIME Music was also impressive. Spotify even sounded good although I hear their streaming rate is low. I now have them connected to my computer via a Fosi Audio K5 Pro DAC amp and the sound quality took another step up. A fantastic sounding system for less than £200. Overall, I thoroughly recommend these headphones. For the price you can't go wrong.

Great value, good quality, feel solid but light !
They are decent headphones, well worth the price.. I am a fan of planar not dynamic drivers and also open not closed, but wanted something for when my wife is watching TV in the same room and reviews seem to like these. Pros: they sound good, nice base, great quality control and build, nice wood, 2 cables ! Fiio quality ! very comfortable and I got a big head.. you can drive them on anything they will work on anything with 3.5mm jack or 4.4 balanced, but I would suggest a dongle to get them singing, enough cable length. Cons: the stage is not great or instrument separation, not the most detailed, If you just want a good pair of headphones at a very attractive price go for it !

Good, really good.
These are a Chinese brand... That's significant because often other brands might be engineered somewhere and they claim that as a selling point, while being manufactured in China. This is a Chinese brand with all the manufacturing power, and Chinese designed. This could go either way, but it went the way of great. I have Senheiser HD600s, the ones made in Ireland (I don't think the drivers were) and I've had replace what I could, the drivers are great, but the build quality is OK. I have some Byerdrynamic DT 990 Pro's, build quality is excellent but the drivers are nowhere near the Sennheiser, I can make them fart. Blow air, distort, whatever you want to call them. Push them too hard and they crackle, sound great below that. Now granted I've just named 2 open back headphones and these are not, and I'm a fan of openback. It's made me go and buy the FiiO openback at the similar price bracket - but I justified the purchase as a closed back pair, to have that option. These are great. They sound excellent, I can't drive them and make them fart, without being too loud. The sound great. They sound... great. The build quality rivals the Beyerdynamic. Let's touch on some of the other pros, they come in a case which other brands charge 15 quid for, a nice travel case I use for other headphones. The cord is something you might buy as an add-on, the wood I like, but I've owned Grado RS-1's, which were wood - I like it. Some won't, if you don't, check out others from their range. The only flaws I have are it's closed back, so not a flaw. It was just new to me, but I've grown to love them. But as I say, I'm buying some open backs from them· If you're closed back person - go and watch some YouTube videos on this. I hadn't and I was blown away. Turns out it's not such a secret.

Don't hesitate, you won't regret buying them.
These are what everyone is saying about them. And more than this, I have found they give a level of transparency and separation that you wouldn't expect from other closed backed headphones. They genuinely hit above the price and would expect to pay 3-4 times this price. Please ignore the nay sayers, they're just doing it for click bait. To note: these are the kings of bass, this doesn't mean conflated or bloated, they're crisp and very controlled. They are also quite nicely sensitive, with a Hiby R6 at %50 volume is about maximum. The build is surprisingly good robust refined and as for the cable and case. I genuinely don't know how they've made for this money. I want shares in Fiio, as these must be falling off the shelves.

Great Sound Quality but Poor Cable.
Pros: excellent sound quality; very comfortable indeed; reasonable price when compared to some of the competition. Cons: cable length is too short even for non-studio headphones; cable material seemingly of a low quality: when rubbing against your clothing will likely make a noticeable 'scratchy', easily audible sound; after less than a month of use the sound now only comes through to the right can. :/

As good sounding as great looking
Huge cans. I have a huge head so it's ok. You just plug it in and it just sounds very good. Warm and cosy big sound stage, big bass but not distorted. I don't want to fiddle with it, calibrating it. The earpads have physical isolation from the surroundings. Also, they're not too tight and quite lightly sit on my head. The earpads cover my ears, and after an hour of listening, I still don't have sweaty ears. For me it's spot on. Cables are feels sturdy. For it's size it's quite light. I can wear it for hours on.

FiiO FT1 Headphones. A budget price but not budget performance
I've had my FiiO FT 1 headphones for a few weeks now and I'm well pleased with them because for the pricepoint and value for money the headphones deliver and then some. The headphones sound great and the build quality is more than adequate.Hopefully my headphones will last the test of time.I have heard before how these headphones had quality issues build wise but touch wood mine are okay so far.My FiiO FT1 headfphones I'm able to wear for hours on end without having to take them of because of discomfort around my ears. And even though I'm paying more for these headphones compared to the price before it's still mopney well spent from me in my opinion. The bass from the FiiO FT1 is not muddy in terms of the quality of sound,in fact the sound is well balanced. Has long my FiiO FT 1 headphones don't come apart at the hinges and last the test of time I'll be more than well pleased.I'm here to tell my fellow Amazon customers that they go wrong if they purchase these headphones.Loike YouTubers say the FiiO FT1 are comparable to headphones 3 times the price.

Zéro defauts
Mon meilleur casque. Je retrouve la qualité sonore de mon vieux Pionner des années 70, les bruits parasites en moins. Et en plus, il est beau et hyper confortable.

Great sound without the need for extra amp or DAC. Comfortable and a bargain price!
I've been a hifi and audio enthusiast for decades. Literally dozens of pieces of gear have come and gone. Speakers of all kinds, amps tubed ss and integrated, vinyl front end changes, DACs players and streamers. So I spent considerable time researching what headphones to buy. I've had Grados and Senheisers in the past but rarely used them and eventually sold them. I have aged a little (some hf hearing loss) and life style changes have moved me into pretty much exclusive HP listening. These Fiio Ft1's are pretty darn remarkable! I'm still using the same FLAC file library I ripped from my CD collection years ago and I vividly remember how it sounded on the big rig in my listening room back then. These Ft1's have just the right balance of all the things I remember from my favorite tracks plus a little more resolving detail that I truly enjoy. I can listen for hours with no fatigue just enjoying great music. And I'm not driving them with a fancy amp DAC or DAP player. I'm using an original LG G7 phone with the stock LG player app and local files on a micro SD card directly out to the HP's using the 3.5mm cable. The phone does have a good DAC and can put out 2v in "high impedance" mode so it drives them very efficiently to louder volumes than I would comfortably use. Best part is I'm truly rediscovering and loving my music collection again. Plus using Spotify lossless and some internet radio in 320kbps to discover more. I do use the eq to reduce the low frequencies by a factor of 7 out of 10 on the DAC's eq scale at 125khz and 250khz. This makes the bass sound real and authentic like a bass guitar or kick drum should, not bloated and thumpy but still with real weight and authority. Nicely built and very comfortable. I had to add padding to the strap because I have a small head and they were too big and loose and hung too low on my ears. No biggie, every HP I have ever used presents this problem so I modify with extra padding. For the price I consider these a steal! Strongly recommended!

CUFFIE SORPRENDENTI
