The Sims 4 Seasons - PC

I absolutely have always loved seasons in the sims games. I don’t agree with EA with the many many expansions but this one is a must. It just makes it more fun and “realistic” (this game isn’t very super realistic but you know where I went with that) and I LOVE the new holidays they added in! I do believe they seem real close together because seasons are about a week long but I believe you can change that and I know for sure you can delete holidays and make your own! This is one expansion I will Buy everytime

This is my favorite sims expansion pack! It arrived quickly and I got it on sale. So worth it!

I really wanted this expansion and I was desperately trying to hold out until it went on sale online, but after checking back here and other retailers everyday I finally caught this for a good price and because I timed my ordering right it came just as the weekend was starting so I got to play in depth. The game was in its original wrapping with no damages and it came on time so I was able to just pop it open and put my game code into origin and download it right away. I can say I am not disappointed, I haven't gotten to explore the expansion fully because I've been stuck in buy mode decorating everything, but it looks promising. I love that you can create your own holidays as well as celebrate existing holidays. I went in and set my seasons so they are longer I think it was to 28 days per season because I really want to enjoy what every season has to offer. I love the sims regardless, but this is an added bonus and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Arrived quickly. Easy installation on my PC. Fun to play with on Sims 4. The only thing I wish that was added on to it to make it more fun is to have a more wider variety for activities in the seasons kind of gets boring after a while in my opinion. But other than that it works just fine and is fun to play.

As its name suggests, this expansion pack brings seasons and weather to the game, much likes its earlier versions for the Sims 2 and the Sims 3. Along with weather comes the ability to engage with it, such as playing in a pile of leaves or building a snowman when it snows. Each season lasts 7 days, and you can start a new family in any season that you want. So far, I am enjoying the weather; in previous games, the weather effects would make my game lag a bit, or would annoyingly glitch (as with snow landing on top of objects, or leaf piles not ever going away). I haven’t had that same problem with the Sims 4 iteration, though I am not noticing weather effects like in previous games (i.e. learning skills faster in fall). Additionally, each season has at least one holiday that can be celebrated. For example, in winter, there is Winterfest, where you can decorate a tree, hang up decorations around the house, give out presents, and even have a visit from Father Winter if you have a fireplace (incidentally, he’ll give you a present if you ask - I got a $3000 grill once and a $300 robo-vacuum another). These are fun to do, but I can imagine the novelty could wear off after a while. Along with the weather is one new career - gardener. It later branches into two paths. It is not a profession, like detective or doctor, but a regular “career” that, obviously, focuses on the gardening skill. It’s fairly standard. As with any expansion, there is also a substantial amount of new clothing and objects. In particular, I liked a lot of the cold weather options, like boots and sweaters and other cozy clothes. Much of the objects are holiday related (or garden related), but there’s some new furniture as well. My main complaint is the lack of a new world. I didn’t particularly care for the new worlds in City Living or Cats and Dogs, so this pack not having one at all was a bit of a let down. I also haven’t seen anything to indicate the presence of Plant Sims. I don’t know if EA included them in this version or not. All in all, I’m enjoying this expansion pack. It’s always nice to get weather one, as it makes things feel more real. There isn’t necessarily a lot more “to do” as in some expansion packs, as seasons are often more in the background, but it definitely makes a difference. Apart from the lack of a new world, I don’t really have any complaints.

Legit & great price

My daughter is a BIG Sims fan, and she loved it. If you like the Sims then here is more! Adds winter and Holiday clothing and items, lets you control the seasons (let it snow, let it snow, let it snow) and I believe also has winter activities. Again, my Daughter loved it and it is the perfect addition to Sims for Xmas.

Fun expansion, has a lot more to offer than other expansions I’ve played though I do wish it offered a new town/city. I love the furniture/decor items in this pack, overall a great addition to the game.

It’s a computer video game, I played it quite a lot while it worked, and it was great fun! It had worked well even with my mods in it until they updated the gallery, just recently, and messed everything up and rendering it difficult to play. If you get it unless you play vanilla, no mods, you might want to wait until September when they do their next big update and fixes and wait a few days to let the modders to sort things out with their mods before it's playable again. Also, it can be a bad mod/s you have, there are ways to weed out the one/s causing trouble.

Daughter loves these

I love having seasons in my sims again! Spring, summer, fall, winter.. each adds their own twist to the game play- don't leave your sim outside in the heat or the cold too long.. or there are consequences- including new ways to die.. I really enjoy the holidays feature, where we get to dress up the houses, and sims for the different sim holidays. I also love having two NEw clothing Catagories, so you can keep your sims dressed appropriately through all the sim seasons.

Worked perfectly fine. I gave this s a Christmas gift and didn’t realize it was just the digital download code in a plastic game case, that kind of took me by surprise but it was no big deal. It worked fine and now my sister has an case to do whatever she wants with.
