over-priced
Desperately over-priced for the amount give.

I learned about it in a workshop in the US. It's a mysterious material. It allows maximum wiping and expression with minimal effort!

Definitely improved my wiping on plates when I started using this. This is the second one I’ve bought in like three years so while it is ridiculously overpriced for what is, essentially, thin non-fusible interfacing, it’s pretty handy stuff.

They are soft but do the job in wiping plates.

Lighter weight than I was expecting but worked great for wiping our drypoint plates.

Works well for wiping oil based intaglio (etching) ink from collagraph plates. The plates are basically made by mounting organza (not real silk) onto cardboard with thin coats of gesso then layering acrylic gloss for white, simulating aquatint on etching plates. The prints show the actual texture of the organza, but make a rich black. I've always traditionally used real tarlatan, the kind you have to wring out with your hands over and over again until soft. This wiping fabric is already soft enough to use without wearing out your hands. I will be using this product again the next time I print.
