perfect for small patio
I bought these string light poles for my small patio, and they completely transformed the space. I didnโt have anywhere to hang lights before, and this ended up being the perfect solution without needing to drill into my house or fence. The first thing I noticed is how sturdy and well-made they are for the price. The metal feels thick and durable, not flimsy at all. Once theyโre in the ground, they feel really secure, even with string lights hanging and some wind. The forked base design definitely helps with stability. Installation was also super simple. I was able to put them together quickly and get them into the ground without any complicated tools. For my patio setup, I spaced them evenly around the perimeter and it created a really clean, cozy look. What I love most: They hold string lights really well without bending or sagging The height is perfect for creating that soft overhead lighting effect They make a small outdoor space feel much more finished and inviting No need to attach anything permanently to the house I use them with standard patio string lights, and it honestly feels like a little outdoor cafรฉ now. Itโs perfect for relaxing in the evenings or having people over. A couple things to note: Youโll want softer ground or a way to get them in firmly (they need to go down a few inches for best stability) For heavier lights, spacing them a bit closer helps keep everything tight and secure Overall, Iโm really happy with these. For the price, the quality is great, and they made a huge difference in my patio setup. If you have a smaller outdoor space and want that cozy lighting look without a big install, these are definitely worth it.

Practical and visually impactful solution.
Iโve set up quite a few outdoor lighting systems over the yearsโeverything from permanent patio cafรฉ lights to seasonal backyard string setupsโand a 4-pack of heavy-duty string light poles like this is one of those upgrades that immediately takes a DIY lighting layout from โtemporary-lookingโ to something that feels intentional and structured. The biggest advantage I noticed right away is stability. The thickened metal construction gives these poles a reassuring rigidity once theyโre fully driven into the ground. A lot of cheaper light poles tend to flex or lean over time, especially after wind or tension from long string light runs, but these hold their shape better as long as you seat them properly. The forked base design also helps with ground grip, especially in softer soil or garden beds, which reduces that slow tilt you sometimes get after a few weeks. From an installation standpoint, theyโre fairly straightforward. You do need to take your time making sure each pole is driven in evenly, because once the string lights are attached, uneven heights become more noticeable. But the payoff is worth itโonce everything is tensioned correctly, the lights hang cleanly and create a nice even canopy effect instead of sagging in the middle. In actual use, they work well for defining outdoor spaces. Iโve used them to frame patios, outline backyard seating areas, and create a โcafรฉ styleโ lighting zone for evening gatherings. They also give you a lot more flexibility compared to relying only on fences, trees, or house-mounted hooks. You can basically design your lighting layout from scratch, which is where these poles really shine. Durability-wise, they hold up well against typical outdoor conditions. The coating helps resist rust, and as long as theyโre not left loose in high wind conditions with heavy string loads, they stay stable season after season.

Sturdy, easy to install, and perfect for patio lighting
Love it... These string light poles are exactly what I needed to finish my backyard setup. The thick metal construction feels solid, the fork base goes into the ground securely, and the poles hold my lights up without leaning or wobbling. I also like that the 4-pack gives enough coverage for a clean, balanced look across the patio and yard. They made hanging outdoor lights much easier than trying to attach them to fences or trees, and the black finish looks neat and blends in well with the dรฉcor. For anyone wanting a simple, durable solution for outdoor lighting, these are a great 5-star choice.

Solid product โฆ pretty sturdy for what it is
These were easy to assemble and I used eight of them in my back yard for 200 feet of lights. Seem sturdy enough and have had them up about a month now. If your yard is like mine and has no light at all these and the right led lights are definitely the trick. A lot tougher than I thought theyโd be , seems they will last a while

Great Outdoor String Light Poles!
These string light poles are exactly what I needed for my backyard setup. The metal is thick and strong, and the poles feel very sturdy once placed in the ground. The fork design helps keep them stable, even with wind and heavier string lights. They were easy to install and worked perfectly for hanging patio lights, making the garden and backyard look much more cozy and inviting. Great for outdoor parties, holiday decorations, or just everyday patio lighting. Excellent quality for the price and very useful for keeping lights neat and secure. Highly recommend!

GARBAGE! Welding on spikes rust and break in less than a month!
Even though I received these on 10/23/25, I did not put them in the ground until I finished a landscape project on November 10. On December 11, I found it necessary to move a couple of the poles to rearrange the lighting. As I was pushing one of the poles into the very soft ground (it has been raining off and on for the past 2 weeks) one of the spikes completely snapped off! Apparently the connection weld was inferior and there was RUST underneath the connection. I can't believe that these lasted only about a month-NOT ACCEPTABLE for the price!! I have had similar poles for over a year with no problems, I needed a few more so I purchased these "on sale". At first I was impressed that the spikes on these appeared thicker, but now I see that the overall quality is horrible! I am afraid to attempt to move any of the others for fear of breakage. Very disappointed at the quality of these poles and I would recommend purchasing from another company. Unfortunately, the return window was November 23 (30 days) so return is out of the question. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Good but break easy
Good if placement is planned and do not move them however, I have had mine for maybe 2-3months now work great but I moved them once to adjust layout and noticed all were rusted and breaking at the stakes.

All my concerns were proven unnecessary! Great design and solution.
Just put up the first two poles. Here's what's important to me: 1 - they are tall but can be made shorter just by removing a section. Very flexible. 2 - the poles screw together similar to how a light bulb does. 3 - they are strong enough so they won't bend in the wind. Also, these won't work in rocky soil because all 4 prongs must penetrate at least 5-6 inches. I used a soft 12 pound dumbell to gently pound them into the ground. And finally, screws and mounts are provided to help if you want to attach to a fence, house or other structure.
