I bought it in last week of January 2021 from Amazon. Till now it gives satisfactory performance, but remote is functioning only in 90 degree angle. It's almost a silent fan, Air delivery performance is well, RPM and CMM are very good. Electric consumption is very low, other things are pretty good. The price was around Rs 2600/- when I bought it, with in 1 year price hike too much. That is not good. Today( 25/04/2024 ) price is near about Rs 3400/- within 3 year Rs 800/- hike, it's too much. Sometimes it suddenly stopped working, but then if you powered on by pushing power button of your remote, it started again. I think it has auto over heating protection features to protect it's motor. I like this fan and I will be happy if I buy it again but for it's huge price hike it will be difficult for us.

Pros: 1. BLDC motor : The fan is very energy efficient. In any situation, in boost mode, fan won't consume more than 35w. normal 5th speed power consumption is around 28-30 w. At lower speeds fan takes very less energy. for example at speed 1, fan won't take more than 7-8 watt. 2. No heating of motor : Even after using it for 10 hours, motor temperature remains almost around room temperature, say 5-10 degrees more than room temperature. This is very important for maintaining the room temperature, because normal fan's motor heats up like an iron and increases overall ambient temperature. 3. Air flow : Fan speed and airflow is similar to regular fans. Air flow is more intense under the fan's span. It's more suitable for rooms upto 12x12. Even in bigger rooms, it creates sufficient air flow in whole room, to keep you comfortable. 4. Noiseless : Another benefit of BLDC motor. There is no noise from fan motor. All noise you hear is of air being pushed down by blades. Even while using on a square wave inverter, fan runs smoothly without making noise. 5. Good build quality - quality materials, good precision and good finish. 6. No need of capacitor or regulator. Please bypass your regulator for optimal performance of your BLDC fan. 7. Remote control - really convenient feature. you don't have to reach fan's regulator every time to change fan speed to maintain your comfort level. very useful esp during night. 8. I have 3 black matte finish models. Look classy. And most importantly, whenever we use a more energy efficient appliance, we contribute in the fight against global warming/climate change and help saving our planet, by conserving energy. Every watt matters. By using such energy efficient fans, we save at least 30-40 watts per hour of use, and it means a lot, try multiplying it with hundreds of millions of fans around the world. UPDATE : It's been 3 years, fans are running as smoothly as they were running on the first day. No noise, heat or any issue so far. Cons: None. As long as you have the assurance of availability of all spares, there is no issue in this fan.

I bought this after going for crompton HS energion 48inch.The fan was faulty that i have updated below that product.FInally returned and went for atomberg.Was skeptical till i received and installed it because its not a big name and it was my first time with the brand.Before placing order i had called up their cust care for finding out about service and the professional approach settled a bit of my doubts. After fixing the fan i found it to be excellent.No startup issues and the speeds are comparable to any normal fan and if any shopkeeper tells you that BLDC fans have lesser speeds than normal fans they either saw a faulty product or they are simply lying to u. I am comparing the speeds to fans like the orient summer king and other non bldc fans at my home. Only gripe is that the remote is not RF based as in crompton.U have to point it to the base of the fan to read it which is not a hassle but actually a good to have that atomberg should seriously look into. The best part is the cust care follow ups and the attitude they have.I hope this stays even when this fan throws up some issue down the road though i hope it doesnt. Will update if i see any issues in future.U can go for this product with your eyes closed.Bought the black one from cloudtail.
