I like this game, I like it a lot, this game is entertaining, it's educational, and in my opinion, this is perfect for children and adults to develop essential skills whilst learning about business and innovation while also having loads of fun. Whether you’re looking to inspire your child’s entrepreneurial spirit or just want to keep them engaged, there’s something for everyone within this "Skillmatics" game. It is never too early for children to learn about business, and this game is a fun way to do it. I would say that children from the age of 9 upwards would find this entertaining - younger ones may struggle to understand the concept, but it is a great game to play with family and friends of any age. The concept is simple, and with TV programmes like Dragon's Den and The Apprentice, it is right on vogue. The products that you launch are crazy ideas, and will appeal to children (eg skateboard shoes, pet umbrella, bubble blowing gloves) and so they are immediately engaged. Once you master the basics, the games are easy and last around 30 minutes, so this is something you can pick up for a quick game - you don't need the whole evening to complete it! All the components are top quality, and are built to last, and it is a great way to prise children away from their computers, entertaining them while letting them learn some important life lessons. Excellent!

It's a really great family game that's a little bit different to any other game we've played before (and we've played many lol). Gameplay is simple and reminds me a little of monopoly, although it's much easier to play for youngsters and gameplay only lasts about 30 mins. The gameboard features pyramids that players try to complete by adding tiles featuring products, offices and teams. Players can buy or even bid on various cards needed to trade up for the required tiles, earning money as they go. The winner needs to complete the pyramid and have at least £3000. The gameplay instructions are easy to follow, although it took us a first play through to fully get the hang of it - it's super easy after that :) The game is well thought out, colourful and I love that the money pieces are printed on cards and not paper - definitely more durable when you have kids. It's a fantastic game - my family thoroughly enjoy playing it. I highly recommend :)

This game arrived in a vibrant, cellophane wrapped, box. Inside was a foldable board, instructions and several sets of cards/game tokens. It reminds me a little of monopoly but for business rather than property. You have to complete your pyramid, on the board, by filling the gaps with your product/office/team cards and collecting 3,000 in money tokens. The coloured dice and symbols on the cards decide what you can use but you have to use a strategic brain to use your money wisely/purchase the right options. We found the instructions a little overwhelming on a first reading but there is a scannable QR code which directs you to a "How to play" video tutorial. As with most games, you need to play a round before it truly starts to make sense. I would think this is fine for ages 10 +, the quality of all the elements is great, so it should last a recent amount of time. It's never too early to start thinking about money and this game provides a fun way to consider business matters. At £19.99, at time of review, I think it's reasonable value for such a playable game.

A genuinely fun game to play - it is based on business start ups and starting your own business. I had intended to use it with Business students of mine but my own kids found it great fun also. It is short enough to be able to have a 'quick game' taking about half an hour once you get used to it, our first game took nearly an hour though trying to decipher the game play and rules (although there is a useful video to help if that's your thing).

As a family, we love a board game, especially when you get one as good as this! It may seem a little complex when you first read the instructions but 5 minutes in and you've worked it out, it's actually really simple. My youngest son who is 10 had no problems playing, in fact he ended up winning the most! A game normally takes 30mins to an hour, there is plenty of different cards and the bidding wars are fun! Everything feels good quality and for the price, I think it offers excellent value for money. I suppose the only downside is you can only have a maximum of 4 players, and you really need to have 4 playing to enjoy it fully. No probs for us, we are a family of 4, but consider that if purchasing. Overall, we gave it 4 out of 5 for fun, and 5 out of 5 for value and uniqueness.
