An all in one tool every outdoors man needs to have
Wasn't sure this was all that hyped it up, I was wrong. It is an all in one tool that works Great! You can hone, sharpen, strop, or just tweek it enough to keep the edge super sharp. Easy to use, and easy to replace parts if need be. Definatly durable, small enough to store anywhere you will need it and each area has a flat area or an angle to get the correct postion to do the job. This is definantly a value at this price, but the 3 pack is better so You can keep one in you go bag, your truck, and one at home. It's flat enough that it won't take up much space. Highly recommend Get one today

Hurry up and buy it!
Look no further!! This is the best sharpener I have ever used. It’s simple, yet creates an extremely sharp edge. I’ve never had a knife that I thought was hair popping, but after using this tool to sharpen my Kershaw and Benchmade knives, I can attest they are now hair popping. And I mean, HAIR POPPING. I could probably shave with these knives now they are so sharp. I am extremely impressed and happy with this sharpener. The directions are easy to follow, and the 20* guides make it even simpler to use, meaning you won’t have to use skill to get the right bevel angles. Very light, well built and compact, and could be taken anywhere. It’s perfect for keeping up with your knife blades edge, highly recommended!

Very Handy Touch Up Tool
This thing is awesome. It's a great little handy tool for touching up various knives at home or in the field. Small and versatile, and way better than the cheap "V" thingies. It has two diamond grits, a ceramic rod that can hit serrations and fine tune and edge, and a leather strop area. Angle Guides on the ends. Small enough to have on hand, but just big enough to use on most knives. The diamond works on the harder, quality steels also. Super happy I picked this up. Great for bridging to your next serious sharpening session. Give it a try.

Works very well
I generally use a Spyderco Sharpmaker for sharpening my knives (kitchen, pocket, hunting) but I wantedsomething that I can have with me when away from home. I have tried the Work Sharp Precision Knife Sharpener in the past but it was quite rickety and limited in angles for certain knives-that was returned.I found this Guided Field Sharpener and it had several different sharpening surfaces including ceramic rods and seemed very packable. It has present angle end pieces however if you have a knife with an angle (less than 20 degrees) you can still use this sharpener. I have to say the 20 degree angle end pieces really do help keep the blade on the correct angle. As I mentioned, I have been using the Spyderco Sharpmaker for a long time and with that there are no pre-angle guides. This Work Sharp product gets thumbs up from me.

Perfect Sharpening Tool
I was familiar with this Worksharp sharpener before I bought it…, a guy at work had this one as well as a larger non portable set (also made by Worksharp). They were both awesome and I used them all the time, but when he left he took them with him.I bought this portable mini one mainly to keep in my backpack to touch up my hunting knife and other tools in the field. It is small and light enough that it is great for a backpack. It even has a fishhook sharpener and a broadhead wrench included, so it basically designed for outdoorsmen. The diamond plate material that Worksharp uses for these is great, faster and easier than a traditional whetstone, and will last much longer. They are easy to clean if they get filled with metal dust, and I’m pretty sure if you were ever to wear one out you can buy a replacement.I am no stranger to sharpening, but if you are new to it, this tool has a handy angle guide built into it that keeps the correct profile. One word of caution, the courser grit is very aggressive. Unless you have a damaged or chipped blade, I would recommend starting with the finer diamond plate, then progressing to the ceramic rod, then the leather strop if desired. To test mine out, I sharpened a small skinning knife (which was pretty dull), two small kitchen knives and a decent-sized chef knife. Starting on the fine diamond with 15-20 strokes and then going to ceramic and leather, I was able to get all four knives to shave hair in just a few minutes. The only small drawback about this sharpener is that, since it is small and portable, it’s a bit tricky to do a larger knife. I was able to do the chef knife just fine, but a larger plate would be easier. I will very likely be getting the full-sized non portable set to keep at home just to have it, but it’s really not necessary at all…it’s mainly just because Worksharp makes awesome stuff and I want to have both!Long story short, this thing is awesome. Whether your experienced with sharpening or not, this is a great tool that is easy to use and does the job. It is perfect for hunters, anglers or campers…but would be great for anyone to have in their kitchen drawer at home as well. You won’t be disappointed!
