This device is flawless. The trackpad is incredibly smooth, and the keys are soft and exceptionally comfortable to type on. The battery life feels endless. Just be sure not to remove the three small stickers on the side unless you’re confident you can remember what they signify.

The Bluetooth stopped working after a month. It’s fully charged but useless.

They keyboard typing experience is very similar, though not as good, as the official products; however, it's very close and I only notice it because I used the official ones for so long. The trackpad works virtually identical to the official product. The feel of the keyboard is also very similar to that of the official product as well. The keyboard's bluetooth range is not that great It's fine if the keyboard is placed within 6 feet radius of the system without obstacles. Add obstacles and the keyboard may occasionally drop. Not really a problem most of the time, but something to keep in mind if you're planning on stashing/hiding the surface device somewhere and hooking it up to an external monitor/tv. The keyboard is not using Low Energy and is instead using Basic Rate. Low Energy Bluetooth is significantly better at saving battery. I've used this keyboard on and off for about a week and this hasn't required a recharging yet. For keyboards, security is pretty important otherwise someone can either hijack your computer by pretending to be a keyboard or see what you type. This keyboard does not use the latest Secure Connections feature that Bluetooth offers and is subject to a number of known vulnerabilities. It also doesn't support Man-In-The-Middle protection, which is not strictly necessary, but it does lower the risk of someone pretending to be the keyboard.

Good feeling case - light but protective. Has trackpad. Easy close. magnetic hold. qood quality for price point.

I recently damaged the keyboard that I already have on my tablet so I need something else. This one was a great backup to have because it has the same functionality although I don't think this one is backlit. I love the fact that it's easy to charge and it is pretty much a connect and go. Or you can say it's the plug-in play. I like that the keyboard is laid out well and that it ergonomically feels OK and I'm glad that I had this as a back up when I did because I needed it.

For a novice user replacing the existing Surface branded keyboard, it was confusing to setup.
