Good range and plug-and-play on Linux
Works on Linux and has great range in my house. Installed it in my desktop computer upstairs and it was able to go through 2 floors, past the first floor and into the basement. Far better range than the thumbnail USB dongle that I was using before. Best of all, on Kubuntu 25.10 (Linux kernel 6.17) it worked perfectly. It was a simple plug and play. 😅

Compact, Reliable, and Works Perfectly
The TP-Link USB Bluetooth Adapter is exactly what I needed to add Bluetooth capabilities to my desktop PC—and it does the job flawlessly. It's small and unobtrusive, and I don’t even notice it once it’s plugged in. Setup was straightforward and painless. I just inserted it into a USB port, installed the driver from the included CD (or downloaded the latest version online), and within minutes, I was pairing my headphones and phone. The connection has been solid—no dropouts or lag—even when streaming music or transferring files. I was impressed with the signal range too. I can move from one room to another and still maintain a stable connection, which is great for listening to music while walking through my house. Overall, this adapter is affordable, dependable, and very easy to use. If your PC lacks Bluetooth or you want a better connection than onboard solutions, this is a smart upgrade. Highly recommend!

Great product
I’ll update if anything changes but so far it’s a great product. Cheap, effective and so user friendly. It was plug and play so once I plugged it in it did its thing. I also just downloaded the driver but the setup was so easy. Update: I wasn’t even using the product properly it’s not plug in play but still quite simple. I never turned off my other blue tooth adapter (the bad one). I noticed this cause the Bluetooth connection seemed funky which had me worried until I figured it out. Just went to device manager and disabled the other adapter and tada the other adapter had its debut. It’s fantastic, extremely strong and stable connection. I no longer need to have a wired connection on my ps5 controllers because the connection is that stable. With the old adapter it would be so unstable that for example in game it would seem like I was drifting off to one direction (which made me think I had stick drift) but it was because the connection was so bad. Great product, recommend to anyone!

Overall great buy and may grab another.
Working great from the other room! I was trying to find something that would get a signal to my Cricut down in the crafts room and this solved that problem for me where a regular dongle wasn't working.. This even throws sound signal out to my Wireless Sony headphones in the kitchen 60ft out through walls and random stuff. If I tried to make it I might be able to get it to not cutout right passed the kitchen. Needed something with a dedicated antenna and who better to trust than TP-Link at least there name is known. Plugged it in and it worked right away, no driver install, just windows recognizing the device and go.

Works, but not perfectly reliable
It works, but is less reliable for my VR controllers than the one built into the computer

works fine, no driver issues, does extend range enough to matter
Works automagically under linux, better range than the thumbnail-sized adapter I was using. Using the teeny adapter my earbuds would cut out if I went to another room w/o direct LoS. With this adapter I get a perfect connection anywhere in a 2100sf house. Still not enough range to cover the whole yard, sadly, but definitely better. I was skeptical when shopping as a *lot* of these kind of things are bogus (a big "antenna" that's not even electrically connected, just plastic, for looks to fool buyers, and a standard tiny mini-pcb adapter)...but this one delivers. I didn't take it apart, but the performance difference is very obvious.

Connects multiple output devices, and has a small form factor. Not Plug and Play.
Think this may be geared more towards gaming systems using a single headset, I tried this on my older laptop to attempt to connect 2 BT headsets with mics. While this unit can indeed connect to multiple BT speakers and headphones, I read something in the directions that leads me to believe that this unit could not connect to two headsets with mics at the same time. This makes sense as both headsets would need to show in the laptop as 2 inputs and 2 outputs. This is why I returned it, as it didn't fit our needs for our PC. It's a smaller compact unit, the antenna is not replaceable so if it breaks your out of luck. Not an issue if you are mounting this some place high up and leaving it alone, but if you are using this with a mobile device like a laptop you'll have to be careful with the plastic antenna. This unit does not have any buttons to pair. I like having one button to put BT units into the pairing mode. I am not too keen on having to install 3rd party software from china when all other USB BT dongles I have used have been plug and play. This is why I took off one star. As a side note you should always check the D.O.D. list of banned companies and hardware before any purchase. For my dual BT headset usage case, I wound up having to get two more expensive DG60P audio only BT USB units with a pair button, a replaceable Antenna, 24bit APTX audio, plug and play USB and a HQ audio/Game switch to toggle between headset and mic mode or just HQ audio modes. Hope this helps!

It works great - total plug-and-play, at least in my case
TP-Link makes a super-fast external USB Wi-Fi adapter built into the base of a set of rabbit-ears antennas - which works great, but doesn't include Bluetooth. if you want the super-fast Wi-Fi AND Bluetooth, this could work for you. It's inexpensive, too.

Excelent Choice for those who wants to update their two year old PC
Everything is connected so far with the TP-Link USB Bluetooth 5.3 Adapter Long Range Receiver including my Anker Headphone and Playstation 4&5 Controller without any issue.

Works great, plug and play
Solved my Bluetooth connectivity issues on my wireless network. Plug and play and was able to connect my AirPods on Windows 11 desktop. Sometimes it’s better to have a separate Bluetooth adapter.

Excelente receptor Bluetooth

Works really well with a range of up to 70 feet
This is admittedly only a Bluetooth 5.3 dongle, which means it is not the latest and greatest. However, the latest and greatest is not always the best. I added this dongle to an old Asus A88X-PRO motherboard machine which I have managed to upgrade to Windows 11 25H2 despite Microsoft's protestations and machinations. The machine is running well, but had no Bluetooth ability. So I decided to add that. It has a remarkable range. I am running the PC on the top floor of our house. There is an exterior wall between the Bluetooth antenna and the outside world. Despite that I could manage to keep an Anker Bluetooth soundblock playing the music from YouTube from my PC while I walked 70 feet down the road from the house. At around 70 feet the sound started to stutter. It certainly worked 100% into every single room in this three storey Canadian house, including the basement. So, I am very happy with it. Unfortunately, as usual, Windows lets it down in trying to pair with Bluetooth keyboards, but that is a Windows failure and not a problem with the dongle. Perhaps some people still have hope that Microsoft will one day understand what its clients actually want. I am not one of those people.
