Usually you need just under 1 yard (about 32 inches of length) for each 2'x4'x2" panel. Order the number of yards you need and we'll send it in one length. If you order 60 yards, that's one whole roll, and will cover about 67 panels of that size.

Would shipping be consolidated if i purchase multiple quantities?

Shipping on additional yards is much lower price than for the first yard, so yes. Amazon shopping cart will automatically calculate that.

How does it become fire proof? Is it a chemical?

Thanks for your question. This fabric is not treated with a chemical. The polyester fibers it is woven of are inherently fire resistant when they are made.

Is this material good for a speaker grill

It's thin enough and open enough that sound would pass through pretty well. But it's not purpose-built for speaker grille fabric, and you'll get some high-frequency attenuation with it.
