This is a really beautiful book. Perfect for as I am learning to draw and watercolour. It's really helpful to have the colours listed for each sketch. Many reviewers are complaining that the paper in the book is poor quality for painting but I would never paint in the actual book so it's no issue for me. In fact, not painting in the book and retaining the original sketch leaves me something to copy from in the future. Hugely recommended 👌

As someone pretty new to painting I just love this book so much. It's so much easier to have pictures drawn on watercolour paper right in the book with the instructions. The drawings are so nice too. It's a great way to teach yourself how to paint. I'm shocked how quickly I'm Learning.

I have been painting in both watercolour and acrylic for several years, I love this book for days when I can't decide what to draw it makes it a very carefree couple of hours. Suitable for beginners so they can get used to how the paint behaves.

I ordered this as a present for an arty friend. I’m so impressed with the quality, the paper is thick and the whole book has a very “premium” feel to it. Lots of tutorials for painting various creatures and flowers! I would have happily paid more for this quality. It will make a lovely gift.

Such a beautiful book. Far nicer than i even expected. Beautiful textured and illustrated cover and paper quality inside looks lovely and apt for painting straight into... from a novice point of view anyway. Can't wait to try.

I loved this book so much, it's not only well done in the explanations, with a lot of examples step by step but the book itself is also made with proper watercolours paper and it has the space for you to draw and paint. So it's more or less two in one: book and album!! I thought it was a very clever idea.

It's an ok book for learning Watercolour basics. Pros. Nice simple and easy to follow instructions. Pictures are already lightly sketched out so you can concentrate on learning how to paint. Cons. Sketch to be painted is on the left hand pages. Quality of Watercolour paper is poor and can't cope with much water. It actually started to fall apart with my first layer of paint. I'm on the wet on dry section, I don't think it will hold up at all on the wet on wet section. Hard to keep the pages flat so it makes it harder to paint.

I am just a beginner in watercoloring and wanted to learn more about it. I decided to try this book as I am not into watching YouTube videos. The book is so beautiful! Very thick paper, so you can paint on the pages, but I decided to buy my own paper so I can reuse the book to practise as much as I can. She informs you what materials you need, how to blend the colours and how to layer. It is so much fun! I cannot draw but I am even getting better at drawing because of this book.

While the book is gorgeous and full of exciting exercises, the paper is of poor quality and does not handle wet-on-wet washes at all. It pills and buckles badly on applying water. I'm really disappointed. I could try the exercises on my Watercolour paper but then what's the use of an expensive workbook? A wasted opportunity in a book of this kind.

Precioso libro con explicaciones sencillas para empezar a usar acuarelas. Lo que más me gustó fue que todas las ilustraciones usan una paleta de colores muy básica. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Esta autora tiene un título nuevo similar pero ahora con tema de mar!
