This a gift to my grandson which as the ability to grow more valuable
The Book was spot on for the purpose I purchased it for. My grandson is entering grade 9 where Trig starts to expand its importance, This book is there to compliment his school curriculum and will expand his knowledge base. Looking through, I'm impressed

Bad examples and exercises should contain process
This could have been a good book. The biggest issue I have is that the examples are too vague and could give some more. The exercises comprise of a number of questions with the answers in the back. If you fail to get an answer there is no way to find out how to resolve it. To me not very informative and not very good at teaching the subject. Shame, because the potential was there

Closer to 5 stars, but maddening question phrasing at times
Great organization and pace to the book. Explanations are generally effective. There are some questions with phrasing susceptible to more than one interpretation, completely unclear, or requiring assumptions, such as referring to sin and cos of two angles but not being told explicitly they are adjacent angles. Overall it's still a great book.
