It makes it so easy to check if my feet and hands are placed correctly during poses like Warrior or Downward Dog. The 6mm TPE material is the perfect balance - it’s thick enough to protect my knees and joints, but firm enough that I don't lose my balance during standing poses. It has a great double-sided grip, doesn't slip on my tiled floor, and had absolutely no weird plastic smell when I unboxed it. Plus, the free carry strap it comes with is super convenient. Excellent quality yoga mat! The 10 mm thickness provides great cushioning and support, making workouts very comfortable. I bought this yoga mat with the belief that it was going to be non slip, however this is not the case. Upon receiving the item, it smelled awful like chemicals in which I had to air it out for 3 days to make the smell bearable. Next, I attended a hot yoga session and it was so slippery I couldn’t even hold any poses during the entire session. I literally had to use the yoga blocks and yoga strap to grip my foot in place so I wouldn’t slip and face plant. Another thing is the overall quality of the mat is just very cheap and poor quality. The design itself is printed very shady onto the actual mat. Overall, will be returning…

Like another reviewer said, the mat smells like gasoline - far from the so-called eco-friendly material advertised. The print is cheap, and the box came without the strap it claimed to include. I'd love to return it, but I'm having to pay half the price of the cursed thing in shipping, just to get anything of a refund.
