I have been an avid Beacn Mix Create user for over a year now, and when the studio came out for my XLR mic I was so excited. It took me a few months (and a 15% off discount) to finally buy it because of how I've seen the reviews go, but I have loved my Mix Create and wanted to have better control over my mic without switching to a USB mic. To start, the device itself was surprising. I knew it was a little block, but I wasn't expecting it to be the size it is. I knew from other reviews that it would be this plastic shell, similar to the Mix Create, but the size was larger than I expected. The one knob on it is my least favorite thing just because of how the button presses in. I wish it had a similar feel to the button on the Mix Create because I hate how the button sounds being pushed in and how plastic it feels. Another thing I haven't seen people talk about is how it only has a headphone jack in the back, which I love and use every day, but I wish they had a secondary Line Out for my speakers. I have 3 ways of listening to stuff on my PC (my IEMS plugged into the back of the device, my wireless USB headset, and my speakers), but the beacn device only has a way to do 2. This wasn't an issue previously with my old mixer as it had Line Out and a headphone jack, but moving over to BEACN completely has taken that from me. Very small loss, but still one worth mentioning. Now for the Software, the reason I chose to purchase this device, it is a 10/10 experience. My mic has never sounded so crisp and professional. I love the noise suppression as it will take out any keyboard clips or car honks on the street. That along with all the other features that the software will help walk you through, makes it worth every penny. My only complaint here is that when I turn my computer back on after having it off the app itself will turn on phantom power. I have a mic that doesn't need phantom power and it can damage a mic if it is on when it shouldn't be so I really wish they put it as a switch on the physical device instead of in the app. I save my profile every night before turning my PC off with phantom power off but somehow it always comes back on. Just something to be aware of for newcomers. Hopefully this can be fixed in an update as I know the BEACN team is always innovating but worth noting at the time of my review. I'm still going to give this device 5 stars as it does everything I need, and I think BEACN will continue to make great equipment and learn from these problems. I know I'll be along for the journey!

I bought this after coming from a GoXLR Mini and I had mixed feelings at first. But all the negatives were resolved after continuing to use the Beacn for a few weeks. My use case is for live streaming games to YouTube and Twitch. I have a semi multi PC setup and I'm very particular about controlling which sounds go to which streams and recording tracks. That's where this device excels! I have far more digital "channels" than I need. I can control which sounds sources go to which outputs (the Mix Create helps control on the fly). I set up multi track recording in OBS so I can isolate my mic, game, music, sound effects, and chat for editing later. Here's some organized thoughts: Quality - Very lightweight (almost cheap feeling). - Button feels hollow. - Dial has little resistance. - Pickup is very clean and powerful. Ease of Use - Mic setup is really easy for beginners to get good sound. At the same time, it's a bit tricky for experienced audio engineers to dial in perfectly. I'm several months in and still tweaking mic settings. - Clip guard works flawlessly. Features - If you need the unique combination of features designed for multi PC use and ease of mic setup options, then this is for you. - If you already have your mic set up the way you want and don't have a multi PC setup, this will be overpriced. Customer Service - Amazing! I've had a couple exchanges with Beacn to report bugs and they've been very receptive, courteous, and quick to respond. Software - Speaking of bugs, I've encountered a few. The company is new and the hardware is the first iteration. Expect edge case bugs. That being said, the software team has been really on top of it and I have no complaints. Just know what you're getting into.

This incredible little device has replaced a whole bunch of hardware and software for my setup. I have a seemingly atypical use case of not being a streamer, but instead a remote worker with a separate company-issued laptop. I use the same SM7B microphone for both my personal computer and my work computer and was previously achieving this by splitting the audio signal and routing it through two separate interfaces into two separate DAW/virtual audio cable workflows for real-time effects processing. The whole thing was so clunky with a mess of EMI issues... dealt with it for 5 years. Then I discovered the BEACN Studio existed. Now I have one device that has enough gain to power the SM7B with top-notch DSP and an incredibly well-thought out, easy to use interface. I have, in particular, a need for good real-time noise suppression due to a portable AC unit nearby, and the BEACN Studio handles it well. TIP: first set a snapshot, then set it to adaptive--this allows you to effectively use both modes. The app does not make this feature apparent, but it is documented online. I'm over the moon with this new setup that simplifies everything, costs a fraction of what my previous solution did, and does all the processing on-board in 32-bit with no latency. The digital mixer and routing capabilities are amazing as well, even if completely overkill for someone who doesn't stream.

Fantastic audio interface! The built-in preamp is extremely powerful and clean, easily driving gain-hungry dynamic mics. The dual USB-C connection feature makes dual-PC stream setups effortless to configure. The DSP noise suppression and EQ sound professional right out of the box. Highly recommended for any streamer or podcaster looking for a clean, compact setup!

Bought this to connect two PCs in a gaming setup -- one to stay as a pure gamer, and the other to act as a streaming machine. Being able to integrate the sound from both, including multiple apps from either/both PC, and mix them into various streams is awesome. Being able to control volumes that the audience hears from each app, separate from what I monitor in the headphones, also a great feature. I find the setup to be incredibly versatile. The XLR mic preamp is solid, great EQ and compression effects, and good sampled-background noise reduction. This thing is a total win.

Negative: minimal manual input/controls. You need another piece of equipment that is the same price as this interface. Development is slow I'm the software, no Linux submit and no intention to support Linux. Positives: the software is really strong, does great things, amazing control over input and output. Needs improvement: ability to interact with the software. This product was a good test. But by these reviews building, building the beacn studio into a control deck would have been the better way. Development of features is slow, this is a product that really hangs by the hope of the people. The team who created this, also created goxlr... should have stuck with that form factor and this new software.

It actually works as advertised and it was the easiest set up. Been looking for a solution to my dual PC audio set up for years and this was so cut, clean, and simple!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Terrible product, never worked once, support is nearly non existent. Complete waste of money, also messed up the audio on pc, to the point where i had to reset my pc. I had it set up properly and everything, did not work. Do yourself a favor and use an elgato product and use wave link, way easier and better. I also had 2 completely up to date computers i was attemping to use it with, as stated, did not work.

I am running a dual pc setup and this is a game changer! Zero lag, crazy control and amazing sound. Glad that I took a chance on this. Some of the audiophile reviews skip over everything it offers. Streaming should be fun and simple. This adds a couple of steps to your startup routine but you can count on the quality and consistency.

Got one of these today and in less than like 3 hours. it died, no idea why or how. Just died. Very cool Update: Found out how to fix it. Could have added that into the troubleshopting guide 😭

Like the device and ability to adjust your 🎤with the software 10/10 But the problem is this device died on me after the first week of using it couldnt power up. Could be faulty device or could be poor build 🤔 had to return as faulty
