Heats up quickly and gets the job done. I don't see why you would buy the more expensive brands unless you have very specific requirements that this does not include. Haven't had to clean it yet but I'm sure a brush will do (like the ones used for straws but bigger). I'm content with my purchase.

Don't have a stove so I've been using this. Great product. A little hard to clean but I just buy a replacement when I need to as they are very affordable.

It constantly shuts off. We had it plugged in on high for about 5 minutes and it shut off and we had to leave it off for a few minutes before it would turn back on. So we tried again at medium and again after a few minutes it shut off and we had to wait another few minutes before it would turn back on. Tried the same thing at low and still had the same thing happen.

It worked great. Had no problems with it.

It works great and it gets really hot. It's a small one burner so you can transport it easily. I would recommend getting it considering it's a great price.

Another major advantage is its broad compatibility, as the coil design works with virtually any flat-bottomed cookware, including stainless steel, copper, or traditional metal pots. In terms of safety, the non-slip rubber feet keep the base stationary on smooth surfaces, and the power indicator light offers a clear visual signal whenever the unit is actively powered on. The only drawback preventing a full rating is the ease of cleaning. Because it features a traditional exposed heating coil rather than a flat glass top, food drips and spills can sink underneath the burner, requiring a bit extra patience and care to wipe down the drip pan after the unit completely cools. Overall, it is an efficient, compact burner that gets the job done reliably.
