Quality product, heavy duty shower head holder - FANTASTIC - 100 stars
Bought the Metal Handheld Shower Head Holder in Chrome finish. Wow, this is excellent quality and will no doubt last. If you are tired of those flimsy plastic chrome coated shower parts and need to replace with something better, then you have found the right company and part. Solid, heavy-duty metal. It swivels, it shines, its durable, easy to install. Bought the holder several months back and finally got around to installing it. I dreaded taking the shower assembly apart, but I was more annoyed by the leak in the old existing plastic one and found it in a box set to the side, so I went ahead and finally installed it. The box contained the holder, Teflon tape and basic instruction page with warranty info. The holder was nicely wrapped in a soft clothlike bag to protect from scratches. Use rubber strap wrench to uninstall old plastic part. Detach hose and handheld shower from old part. Put Teflon tape on all external metal threads. Nice included Teflon tape so did not have to hunt some down. Screw the one end onto the shower arm filter on wall side, screw the metal ended hose to other end of holder with handheld shower head attached. Ensure you have the hose the right way as sometimes one coupler end is longer to fit in the holder. All back together. Check the hose fits into the holder. Hand snug together then tighten with soft strap wrench. Do not use metal wrenches or you will more than likely scratch up the finish. Turn on water and test, no leaks. Looks good and will definitely outlast the plastic.

Exceeded my expectations. Solid metal build quality and solved more issues than I expected
I basically never write reviews on Amazon but was so thrilled with this thing. Please ignore that the finishes don't match. Unfortunately my hardware is nickel and the existing showerhead I had was chrome. So I have a Hansgrohe Clubmaster hand shower and the swivel mount it came with cracked and failed because it was plastic. I called Hansgrohe and they sent me a new one but said that it would not be adjustable (newer design). That was disappointing but was fine for a while until I moved into a place where the shower arm came in much lower. I'd have to squat just to get my head under the water. I was looking into shower arm extensions, S shaped ones, all that stuff to solve this issue. But I said you know what I'm overdue to replace this hand shower holder and thankfully found this item. Not only did it give me back most the height I needed it also somehow allowed for way more water pressure to come through my showerhead. I guess I hadn't noticed that the new part in the other product had also included some restriction in it. I had already removed the restrictor in my hand shower head itself. I will say I totally buy into the ethos here of metal feeling like better quality, less disposable and throw away BS. The only reservation I have is that the shower head requires nothing more than a light touch to adjust the pitch. Hopefully that just means this is well designed, but I do worry when it's not quite so new if it will start to droop a bit on its own. Time will tell as I've only used it the once so far. That said if you think you need one of these just get it. I know sometimes it's easy to be cynical or jaded about a lot of imported internet direct stuff on Amazon where they have a bunch of fake reviews and you're worried about getting some piece of trash that ends up a chore to return. This was not that, and I applaud them for seeing an opportunity in the market and getting these made. Hopefully it stays durable for the long haul, but even still the price on this is super competitive with some of the plastic crap out there for sale.

Best design, compatble with most shower heads
This is a good item, becaise it is metal and thus preferable to the plastic ones. Instruction are good and including the plumber's tape is a nice touch. Installation was easy and item is working perfectly.

Use this awesome shower head as a foundation for an excellent DIY setup!
What you're seeing in the picture is three separate components from three separate manufacturers that, when put together, makes for a BULLETPROOF handheld shower setup. We initially spent over $70 on a Delta In2uition shower head setup that was complete plastic garbage. It's a shame to pay that much for plastic junk. I returned it and went on a mission to build my own leakproof and durable setup. I started with the shower head holder, which in most kits is almost always plastic. Folks, this Hammerhead shower holder is THE holder you've been looking for if you want something durable that does not leak. It's hefty and made from solid brass/metal and is so easy to install. Grab yourself a roll of MegaTape thread seal tape, wrap your pipe a few times (I did three), and screw on the holder. With plastic kits it can be quite easy to cross thread the fitting, causing immediate leaks. This holder goes on super easy without cross threading, making a solid seal. I then made sure I bought a metal hose that too was durable. I combined it with a Sakaika 6 function shower head that had excellent reviews and boom, had a complete setup that didn't leak (the head even came with instructions on how to remove the flow regulator). It has awesome pressure and is stylish as well with it's brushed nickel finish. Do yourself a huge favor and build your own setup, starting with this shower head holder. You will not regret it. The price I paid for all the components (holder, hose, and head) was around the same price I paid for the Delta and far exceeds the junk they're trying to sell.

Solid quality shower head holder
I was expecting something that was just good enough to do the job but this shower head holder blew me away. The package came with simple instructions, a bit of plumber's tape, and a strong, heavy qaulity shower head. One of the easiest setups I have ever dealt with.

Really nice piece of brass
I broke the plastic shower head holder that came with the shower head I bought at a big box store, by yanking a little too hard on the flexible hose. What a ridiculous design! So I went to another big box store and bought another plastic holder, made by a different vendor (or with a different brand.) It fit fine and got the shower back in working order, but I decided that a brass fitting was a better solution to the problem. So I found this nice part, brass with a brushed nickel finish, and ordered it. It is an impressive and nicely made plumbing fitting, installed easily and looks great. I only have one complaint: the bit that holds the shower head is just a hair too small, so that the shower head doesn't slide all the way in. It is workable, the shower head stays in place, but it seems a bit insecure. It wouldn't take much to change the dimensions to make my shower head slide all the way in, but I guess when you are trying for a universal fit, it's hard to get it just right. Even with that, I am staying with the brass, but I have docked a star because of the less than perfect fit.

Best shower head holder replacement in the market!
First I bought a chrome plated plastic replacement from blue box. It leaked - badly. Then I tried one from orange box. Better, but still leaked. Then I found HammerHead. Bought their chrome plated, all metal, built to last beyond my lifetime replacement. Installed it exactly the same way as I did the other two. No leaks!!! Solidly built! Much, much better fit and a huge quality improvement! Iโll never use another company - why waste time on inferior products?!

A little expensive, but well worth the price, and very high quality!
I recently ordered two of these, to replace cheap plastic ones (one of which broke, another which was starting to show wear). They cost about three times what a decent chrome plated plastic version does, but I decided I just wanted to get really good metal ones, and be done with it. These appeared to be the best match for what I had, only made of solid brass, with a nice chrome plating. They arrived quickly, and were everything that was represented in the product page. They are heavy (definitely solid brass as advertised), and the chrome finish is excellent. They each came in their own box, complete with teflon tape, and extra rubber washers for each. They installed easily, and all the threads lined up correctly. Had to re-install one which dripped from the joint, but that was my installation, not the product (I didn't use enough of the included tape - I'm not a plumber - but there was plenty of tape for a second try, and now it's perfect). They look so much nicer than the plastic ones, and I expect them to be the last shower head holders I ever have to buy for these bathrooms. The handheld shower also fits much more firmly and securely into these than it did into the plastic ones (probably because these do not bend and deform easily like the plastic ones do). If I ever needed these again (and based upon the quality of these I expect that I will not because they will last forever) I would not hesitate to buy these again. Just pay the extra $15-18 bucks for these solid brass fixtures (verses getting the cheap plastic version), do it right, and never have to do it again!

Solid and very well made, all metal parts.
Good product, very well made. All parts are solid metal as advertised. The producer made an extra effort even in packaging and sent extra gaskets with the product. It doesn't seems like a big deal, it is a shower holder, but the producer sent it in a little case, tells you a lot about company. Installation takes 5 min at most, fits perfectly. The prize is the same that you will pay for a cheap plastic. Very good, well made quality part. Thank you!

One hefty, well crafted item!
Wow this is a substantial item! The heft instantly screams "all metal!", no cheap plastic here. Great finish too, this item should outlive me!

Easy Install, Feels like Quality
Just replaced my leaky plastic showerhead holder with this all-metal one from Hammerhead. I actually really like my old showerhead and the hose even if it is some cheapo one, so I only swapped out the holder/balljoint thingy. Technically it's just the white plastic gasket inside the balljoint that failed and caused a spray/leak, but I can't imagine I could find that specific part. Decided to spend the 30$ on the BIFL piece. So far, so good. I imagine it'll be good for a long time.
