This was purchased for a friend's 5 year old boy. He LOVED it. He was ripping it out of the package before the party was over and told us all we could go home. It was definitely a great gift!

This toy would have been perfect for my goo jit zu loving little boy, but it had a hole. I was able to return it for a refund.

Very fun DIY gu jitsu for a steal of a price! Got for my 4 yo for christmas and he very much enjoyed creating his very own gu jitsu. Definitely would recommend and would buy more if they had others available! Was very easy to assemble. Very durable and cute. Just as nice as his other gu jitsu figures that came already put together.

Goo Jit Zu's have both my kids (6 and 3) in a chokehold. I'm never going to financially recover from this. All jokes aside, this kit is a really great deal. After flipping through the Amazon Christmas book, both kids marked that they wanted this for Christmas. Local stores were also selling the fillable Goo's too, but for the same price you only got one guy to fill. This one is an Amazon exclusive and comes with two guys. The colors are slightly different than other Thrash and Blazagon that the boys already have, but being exclusive to Amazon, I think it would have been cool to have two entirely new characters that were specific to this kit. It comes with two packs of shimmering liquid that gets mixed with plain water to make the goo juice, trinkets to place inside the guys, and instructions on how to fill them. It is a little messy, but not anything like some of the other toys out right now (Mr Beast, I'm looking at you). While I think the intention is that the guys only get filled once (because there are only two packs of shimmering liquid), ideally it can be used over and over. There is nothing that permanently seals the heads on after filling. They could be filled with the same liquid (after pouring it out), a different liquid, plain water, different trinkets, orbees, etc. One thing I would mention is that the instructions said the mix the shimmer liquid with water and then pour it into the chamber. I think that you could consider mixing both inside the goo chamber instead, but we didn't try that. We found that even mixing really well, a lot of the shimmer stuck to our measuring cup when pouring into the goo chamber and thus never made it into the Goo Jit Zu guys. Even with the heads not permanently sealing, we have not had a single leak. The body seems to have the same durability as other guys we have. They do feel different than other Goos (less squishy, not as structured) probably because really, they are only filled with water.

Great activity before play. My boys loved putting these goo jit zu's together. Fun set that yeilds two Goo Joy Zu figures. Reminded me of creepy crawlers from back in the 90s.

Fun to make but not to play with. After it was finished we mad sure the cap was on really tight. It continuously leaked and then we couldn't get the cap back off to refill it. Not worth it.

We couldn’t find this at our local stores, and this is exactly what my 7 year old wanted. He’s had it for 8 months and they haven’t had any issues.
