20L Masonry paint white

I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price but this paint is fantastic. It has covered our new render in a single coat.

Excellent and on time great price

Not sent with the best courier for me. The initial delivery attempt was quite quick but being a week day between 9 and 5 meant that I was at work when the attempted the first delivery. I re-ordered the delivery but it's an additional £6 to have it arrive on a Saturday. I ended up booking a day off work to avoid this charge and make a start on painting the garage. The tin also arrived with a couple of big dents in it, which is a shame because I wanted to clean it out and use it afterwards. I have used this to paint the walls of the garage so won't see the elements but looks great for my use. It was painted directly onto the breeze blocks, these were all brushed down before application so clean and dry. I tried using a roller but a big masonry brush gave a much better finish due to the small pores in the blocks and recesses for the mortar, initially I applied it straight from the tin but then started to water it down and that gave a much better result for the first coat. I went directly from the tin again for the second coat. Some areas have needed a third coat too but only where I probably watered it down too much for the first coat. The texture of the paint is like it has very fine sand in it and this really helps it to smooth out the rough texture of the wall. The coverage on dry breeze blocks is probably more like 1m² per litre so I'm going to need to buy another tin. Overall I think this is really good paint which gives a great finish I'm going to buy more to get the job done and would definitely recommend it to others, especially at this price. Time will tell how good it is.

Very good coverage good value

Purchased 60L of this paint and painted my whole house white during lockdown in May. Now the weather is wetter the whole house is turning green! Contacted the seller who copy and pasted something from a website for lime rendered houses and tried to blame my house for the issue. My house is 100 years old and has never had this issue with other paints (and is not lime rendered). I don't know exactly what this paint doesn't have in it that other paints do but unless you want to be that house in the street that people refer to as the "mouldy green house" buy another paint!

I am 80 years old and found it easy to use, was great value , brilliant white, exactly what I wanted.
