Teva Women's Tirra Sports and Outdoor Lifestyle Sandal

I'm very picky when I buy my hiking sandals because I wear them basically every day. After a lot of research, I went with this shoe because I like Teva's grip and reliability, and this design is a bit sturdier than their originals (plus the straps are adjustable). I definitely was not disappointed with this shoe, it seems to fit my feet like a glove. Arch support normally irritates me, but in these shoes it is mild enough that your feet are better positioned/supported without it pushing on your arch annoyingly. They are quite comfortable, too, and don't feel like they'll fall off at all. They are heavier than the average hiking sandal if you mind weight.

I lived in these shoes when I went travelling for 3 months. Very comfortable. Only issue is that once they get dirty and sweaty they are difficult to clean fully.

Good for travellers, comfortable to wear

Bought these for travelling back in February. I wore them on long hikes and walks, to the beach and general day to day. I injured my big toe a couple of months earlier- Turf toe. When I showed the sandals to my podiatrist, she said that I had made a very good choice, because of the shape and design of the sandals, which would assist with my walking and support my feet in the right places. Despite my injury the sandals were very comfortable to have on, felt secure on the feet, and comfortable to walk in, in all terrains. Great quality, they haven't even begun to wear out yet

These are brilliant but difficult to get hold of in the UK

I ordered my usual size 8 but in men’s because they didn’t have birch colour in women’s size. I bought running men’s shoes in the past (they are the same as women’s most often just a bit wider). The only issue I had as soon as I put them on - the sole didn’t feel comfortable because of the anti slip mini square pattern (probably to prevent sliding foot when sweaty) or maybe the soles of my feet are way too sensitive. The strap on the heel at the back is surprisingly low but it’s not an issue actually. I assumed they will be much softer and cushiony, the straps are also somehow sharp and less comfortable but… having said all this I have decided to keep them! I am getting used to the sensation under my sole and I adjusted the straps so they are really loose and minimally dig with the sharp Velcro strap into my big toe so they are starting to feel comfortable. The sole is kinda just simple flat without any arch support but it’s bendable so when I walk it doesn’t stay flat as at the moment so popular “flatsoles” which I dislike. I love the colour and look of them and they go so well with most of my sporty/relaxed gear. I will definitely wear them a lot, and I would love them more if they were softer.

It’s a shame because I’d heard great things about Teva sandals and I thought I had found a pair of dad sandals that actually looked quite cool. However, the fit is horrible. I’m a size 10, and my toes are way too far back from the front because my heel is hanging off the back of them and the heel section is not adjustable. No matter how much I adjust the two straps, my foot ends up at the back again because the heel section is too long/far back. Which also squishes your pinky toe. Hopefully the other styles with extra strap are good but I wanted sandals that look more casual.

I looooove my platform Tevas! This is my second pair and I’ve worn the first pair into the ground. I was so upset when I couldn’t find this on the Teva website. They had other color variations but I just couldn’t find a pair I really liked, so I Was so happy to see these on Amazon! They are honestly the most comfortable and supportive pair of sandals I’ve ever had, and it helps that I’m short so they add a bit of height for me 😅
