I like that the surface is made with a mesh design rather than being solid metal or wood. The mesh allows steam to pass through during pressing, which is very important for me since I frequently sew garments and accessories and need proper pressing results. The size of the board is excellent. My only complaint is that the plastic end caps on the legs are made from very poor-quality plastic. Some of them arrived cracked and damaged, and others broke very quickly with regular use.

This ironing board is very sturdy and stable. I like the reinforced steel legs and the adjustable height, which makes ironing more comfortable. The 4-layer padding provides a smooth surface, and clothes are easy to iron. The iron/steam rest is also very convenient. It folds easily and doesn’t take much space for storage. Overall, it’s a good quality ironing board and works very well.

I wasn't disappointed in a thing about this ironing board, and I've been an avid ironer all my life. I even iron my sheets! I was hesitant to order this ironing board because it is smaller than I am used to. I've recently moved to a retirement home and space is at a premium. This little guy holds his own against any ironing board. I had no problem with slippage. I iron on an industrial carpeted floor. Maybe that was the secret. I would never trade in this ironing board. It is strong and sturdy, attractive, and well-built. Easy to adjust, once, you figure out how to do it. The price is WELL worth it! I am grateful for all the honest comments. The ironing board itself is nice and sturdy, but the plate on the end to hold the iron is annoying. The iron doesn't sit on it well and the cord gets hung up between the plate and the end of the ironing board. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the rest plate.
