These perform as expected. Fit my water filtration unit perfectly.

It was long overdue to replace our filters, and though they last a longgggg time, it was time to get new filters. We bought these , which also had the extra special ones to remove fluoride etc. They fit perfectly, reasonably priced …so it’s great. Consider these….cheers to you , since you care about good water.!!

I love my water filter, but my water is so hard that I have to change filters more often than I would in an area with softer water. That can get very expensive. This water filter replacement set offers a perfect solution. You get two of the black carbon filter and 2 flouride filters in the kit. These fit my Patriot Pure filter and I assume they would fit Berkey and Alexapro as well. You could also use these to build your own emergency water filter system using a five gallon bucket. Although I cannot cut them open and look inside (although I probably will after I've used them) they seem do a good job at improving the taste. My TDS meter indicates they remove much, but not all of the total dissolved solids. You'd have to have your water tested to know precisely how good a job these do. But they seem good to me and I've been filtering my water for years. Pro tip: To extend the life of your expensive carbon filters, use a cheap Brita-type filter as a pre-filter. This will help your filters last longer by removing at least some contaminants.

Clean fresh water. This filter works great with my berkey. I ended up only using the charcoal filter. It is a little uncomfortable filling out water directly from the sink when the white filters are installed.

I bought a Berkey Water Filter and original carbon + lead filters. Greatly improved my city water taste and it came time to replace them and found these alternatives. I recently discovered Culigan Pure Water that comes with a particles per million display and you can actually test other waters with it. My city water was 398ppm before using the filters and was 396 after running it through the filter in my berkey. I’m now filtering water through these then the culligan to get a ppm of 0. Not impressed. Save your money because I don’t know what these filters are actually filtering out.
