MTG Prerelease Pack : Duskmourn House of Horror (DSK)

I got some pretty decent pulls from these boxes. Nothing too spectacular, but it was well worth the price. Would purchase again. This is an awesome series of cards and they'll be great for my collection. MTG is my favorite game to play and collect.

Inspect the boosters accordingly.* I love prerelease packs because they’re a great way to check out a set without buying a whole box. You get 6 boosters, a promo card, a countdown die, and some punch out counters. Feelies aside, 6 boosters is a good way to get a feel for what the set is doing, and its gimmicks. Duskmourn itself is a fun horror-themed set with a very different vibe from the gothic feel of Innistrad or the murder-mystery of Murders at Karlov Manor. You want creepy dolls, chainsaws, Ghosts in the TV, and other cards with a strong horror movie vibe, then this is the set for you.

Huge hit with grandson

Package came in a plastic bag, rather than a cardboard box, but luckily didn’t sustain much or any damage. Amazon put a tracking label on the box’s code, which is BS when dealing with collectibles. This set is seemingly pretty valuable, and the pre-release cards are usually significantly more expensive, so I’m leaving it sealed. I really enjoy how each new set has a different emblem on the perforations, this time with butterflies.

A great gift for your hard core collectors out there, young and old, who still play Magic and like to create decks even though they don’t play much anymore. Nice quality and, to many fans, fun to play. I have no idea how to play the game, but appreciate anything that captures a person’s creativity and keeps them off of social media. That said, I’m old and I really don’t know anything about these types of games, other than the broad smile I see on my adult son’s face when he receives them. I’d give 5 stars if I actually knew anything about the game.
