Look great on my Galaxy Watch7
About six months ago I treated myself with a new Galaxy Watch7, which I like quite a lot. Having had it with only the watch band it shipped with, about a month ago I decided to start finding some new watch bands to wear with it. I have tried a few different things out, with varying degrees of success. The most successful have been the hemsut 20mm leather bands, so I am leaving this review for others who may be considering the purchase. The first thing that drew my attention is the plain leather strap style. Most of the others that I see among the offerings on Amazon and elsewhere have a face layer with through-stitching and/or padding between a softer leather that goes against the skin. Those bands are nice enough, but they seem a bit fussy to my eyes, so the plain look of the hemsut bands offers a nice alternative: simple, nice colors, easy to match to other bits of clothing (shoes, belts, etc). The bottom line is that I think these bands deliver everything that I had hoped, and more. Out of the box they look exactly as pictured, and even better, the quality of the leather is great. They are a nice compromise between being--on the one hand--soft and plaible while also--on the other--having a reassuring thickness that makes me think they are plenty tough. The spring-bars they ship with work nicely, and if you're used to handling these very small things you will have no problem here. However, I can imagine that if you have difficulty manipulating very small items with your finger tips they might prove difficult for you. So the price point is a little higher than many of the cheaper leather bands that are available, but I'd say it's worth it. I have two different hemsut bands (brown and black/red) and they are now my preferred options for when I want to go out for the day with a dressy-casual look, like when I will be spending the day in the office. I have only had them for a month or so, so I can't speak to their durability, but I plan to return in six months or so and add that information to this review.

Highly Recommend, great Quality and easy Install
Really impressed with this strap. It looks awesome on the watch and honestly feels even better than the original band that came with it. The leather is real genuine leather, soft, comfortable, and feels high quality right away. It was very easy to install, and the small tool included in the package was actually very useful and made the whole process quick and simple. The color and stitching give it a clean classic look, and it completely upgraded the appearance of my watch. Definitely highly recommend this strap if you want something stylish and comfortable. Buy with confidence.”

Very pleased. Buy them, you won’t be disappointed
I purchased this in the green color for some options with my Hamilton Khaki field with the greenish dial. I have to admit, I’m extremely happy with this strap. The strap is made using Horween leather (one of the oldest tanneries in the US), extremely soft and supple. It’s thin enough to not add unneeded bulk, but thick enough I have zero issues with the quality or longevity. The white stitching around the lug area and around the buckle looks great and throws back to that classic field watch aesthetic. Fit is great. I easily found a hole that fit my wrist perfectly. All in all, I’m very excited to see where the patina goes. I highly recommend.

A Budget Friendly Leather Strap for Dress Watches
Hemsut is highly praised for their rugged, tactical, and comfortable bands at affordable price ranges. Ranging from $15 to $35, their straps stand out in a crowded market due to heavy-duty stitching, durable hardware, and excellent everyday comfort. PROS: Hemsut uses high-quality, genuine leathers for their watch bands, with a strong focus on Horween Chromexcel leather sourced from the USA. CONS: Susceptible to scuffing and prone to premature wear around the buckling portion of the strap. FUNCTION: (4 Stars) The Hemsut leather strap comes with a quick release that makes it very easy to swap watch bands. The tool-free spring bars are robust and provides a solid anchor for your strap. The strap itself is thin enough to be comfortable and durable enough for your everyday casual or formal wear. However, I would caution against pairing the strap with a tool and/or a dive/sport watch. The brushed steel tang buckle is unsigned and is held in with a spring bar that allows you to change it for another. DESIGN: (4 Stars) The leather strap provides a vintage tone look that pairs well with any dress watch with a case thickness under 12mm. The "Natural" color is more of a light sandstone brown in direct lighting and takes on a honey brown in the shade. Although the leather strap has a smooth exterior, the suede underside may not be for everyone. MATERIAL: (3.5 Stars) The quality of the leather is quite solid. The Horween leather used is supple and durable. However, I did notice that it is susceptible to scuffing and prone to premature wear, especially on portion where the strap is buckled. COMFORT: (4 Stars) At about 2.2mm thick, the watch strap provides exceptional comfort and does not require any break in period. The suppleness of the Horween leather is so soft and flexible that it conforms to your wrist almost immediately. However, the suede like underside may retain some moisture after sweating. PRICE: (4 Stars) The Hemsut leather strap is an excellent replacement strap for dress watches, especially for people who do not want to pay premium prices for leather goods. In this case, the Hemsut offer tremendous value for leather straps and an ideal alternative for people to bring new life to their dress watches without breaking the bank. If you are looking for a durable or leather upgrade to replace your stock strap for your dress watches, Hemsut is an exceptional choice. They offer a fantastic blend of premium materials and budget-friendly pricing. Total Star Rating: 4.0 (20 stars out of 25)

Great quality strap — perfect match for my Hamilton Cooper!
I really like this watch band. It fits my Hamilton “Cooper” perfectly and gives it a classic, vintage look. The quick-release pins make it super easy to swap on and off without needing any tools, which I appreciate since I like changing straps now and then. The leather feels and smells great right out of the box — that real Horween aroma that tells you it’s quality material. The stitching looks clean, the adjustment holes are well-placed for a comfortable fit, and the clasp looks nice and feels sturdy (not cheap or flimsy like some lower-end straps). Pros: -Soft, genuine Horween leather that breaks in nicely over time -Quick-release system for easy swapping -Solid, good-looking clasp hardware -Great fit and proportions for mid-to-large watches Cons (general to leather straps): -Like most real leather bands, it can get a bit warm or pick up sweat in hot weather -Not ideal for heavy water exposure — I wouldn’t swim or shower with it -The leather will show some natural aging and patina (which I actually like, but worth noting if you prefer a “new” look) Overall, this is a really solid strap for the price — comfortable, stylish, and it complements my Hamilton perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re into quality leather straps that age well.

Great straps, make sure to use leather conditioner!
I own three of these straps and I'm really satisfied with the quality of them. I love the quick release springbars, and the leather is nice and thin but strong and flexible. Plus they always seem to match the advertised width. One thing I will mention is that all three of them arrived very dry, like the leather almost feels like cardboard its so dry. So I strongly recommend that you use plenty of leather conditioner on them (I use Brooks Proofide). It completely changes how these straps feel when they've been properly conditioned, they get far more flexible, water resistant and even a bit stretchy. Plus it helps darken the color and make it more shiny, which really helps it feel more premium. Overall fantastic, I recommend these straps for any watch, just make sure to load them up with conditioner.

Great strap!
Very nice strap. Solid top grain leather sourced in the USA. I have a new bronze watch and I wanted a strap that would patina along with the watch, so I bought the natural version. It is a thick leather but extremely soft and comfortable. Water beads on it so I believe it is wax treated. For the money this strap can't be beat!

Look & Feel Don't Match Description
I bought this band specifically because I was attracted by what the description said: "it is a very specific leather, from a particular part of a horsehide. It's beefy, thick, and supple, better for daily wear and sports watches. Heavy duty leather watch band, a bit stiff at first but softens up nicely after a short time..." Let me take this point by point: - "It's beefy, thick,.." Another band I've been buying for years wears through about every 18 months so I was hopeful this one would last longer. Time will tell whether it does or not, but the second I opened up the package I could tell right away there is nothing beefy or thick about it. It is certainly no thicker than my previous band and actually slightly thinner. However it's always the ends that wrap around the pin or the buckle that wear out, so those are the parts that ought to be reinforced. I will have to wait and see if these last any longer. - "Heavy duty leather watch band, a bit stiff at first but softens up nicely ..". Again, nothing about this band strikes me as 'heavy duty' and it is not at all stiff. Right out of the package I was surprised at how soft and supple it already is. - The look: From the first image when you hover over it, I had the impression this was a nice 'grainy' and rough or textured looking leather. In fact it actually looks quite smooth and polished, almost like faux leather. This is more a type of look and finish I image someone who works a 9-5 office job and has very manicured hands wearing. It was described as being more of a 'sports' or 'active' wear type that gave me the impression of being more 'rugged' and outdoorsy looking, which is what I was hoping.

Good quality, thick leather. Highly recommended.
Feels like good quality genuine leather. I particularly like the quick release spring bars - makes fitting and removal very easy. I can see why some reviewers have struggled with threading the strap through the loops. It was a tight fit at first, and because the leather is so thick, it can be tricky to bend it into a sufficiently tight curve to feed it through the loops. But I found that by keeping the two loops right next to each other when putting the watch on my wrist, it became a lot easier. After the 2nd or 3rd day, it became second nature, and well worth the effort for such a lovely leather strap.

Cuero de color degradado, fino y cómodo.
Instalada en un Hamilton Khaki Field Auto y queda de fábula. El cuero es muy, muy suave y se adapta a la muñeca rápidamente. Esperemos que aguante el paso del tiempo

Premium Quality Strap with Classic Style
This Horween leather watch strap is outstanding in both quality and comfort. The leather feels supple right out of the box and only gets better as it breaks in, developing a nice vintage patina over time. It gives my watch a classy, timeless look that works equally well for casual wear or more formal settings. The 22mm quick-release design makes swapping straps incredibly easy — no tools needed, and it locks in securely with no wobble. The stitching is neat, the hardware feels solid, and the overall build is clearly made to last. If you’re looking to upgrade your watch with a durable, stylish, and comfortable leather strap, this Horween option is an excellent choice.
