I put this Columbia Glennaker through some serious testing during just under 3 weeks in Peru at the start of rainy season, and it definitely kept me dry. Got caught in the rain on multiple day hikes and two treks, and the waterproof shell held up perfectly. The jacket is impressively light and rolls up small enough that I could store it in my backpack's water bottle holder for easy access - super convenient when the weather changes quickly. The packable design and stow-away hood make it ideal for travel. The only issue I ran into was during the hike to Machu Picchu. It poured the entire morning and the jacket kept the rain out completely, but I was so hot from the intense climb that I ended up drenched in sweat by the time I reached the top. The jacket just doesn't breathe well enough for strenuous warm-weather hikes. For casual hiking, city travel, or cooler conditions, it's perfect. But if you're planning intense hikes in warm, rainy weather, you might want something with better ventilation. Overall though, for the price and packability, it's a solid rain jacket for general travel use.

The jacket was nice and light weight. The sleeves were very wide, as well as the hood, but they could be adjusted. The jacket seems to run too large in my experience. I would recommend sizing down. Will return.

As advertised- very light rain jacket, zippers on pockets, hood attached that folds into a wide collar. Keeps the rain off but doesn't provide warmth- perfect for travelling. Haven't tried it in the rain!

This waterproof jacket is excellent quality. It does a great job keeping water out I’ve used it in the rain and stayed completely dry. One thing to note is that the sizing runs a bit large. I weigh about 70 kg (154 lbs) and I’m 175 cm (5’9”), and the size M felt too big. I ordered another one in size S and it fit perfectly. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended if you want something durable and truly waterproof just consider sizing down.

Nice rain jacket. It is a very lightweight jacket so it’s perfect for Sumer weather. It does breathe too. I’ve been a 2XL for years now and I know I’ve shrunk some in my older years but this seems to run true to size. Just a tad longer in the sleeves but not enough to make any difference. It’s not going to run up your arms when arms are raised. 6’0” and 235 lbs here. Velcro on the sleeves. Two big side pockets that you can stuff it all into for packing it in a suitcase. It will be great for casual wear during the rain but not for outside work per say. And with the sale price drop around $37, it’s a fantastic value.

I bought the Columbia Glennaker Lake II Rain Jacket a few weeks ago, and I honestly have no complaints at all. It’s lightweight, packs down easily, and does exactly what it’s supposed to — keep you dry without overheating. The fit is true to size, and there’s just enough room for a hoodie underneath on cooler days. The zippers feel solid, and the hood gives good coverage even in heavier rain. I’ve worn it on a few windy, wet days and stayed completely dry. It’s also great for travel — folds small enough to fit in a backpack pocket and dries quickly if it gets wet. Overall, just a great all-around rain jacket from Columbia. Comfortable, practical, and dependable. Definitely worth it.

Compré la talla que tengo y que me recomendaba la aplicación XL, llego puntual se ve producto de calidad propio de esta marca pero esa XL es muy grande puede ser XXL incluso más. He intentado comprar talla más pequeña pero el precio ya no era el mismo
