What I love most about it is how effortlessly it fits into real life. It’s not trying to turn brewing into a ceremony or overwhelm you with variables, it just delivers consistently good coffee with very little fuss. Great little brewer, packs down really nicely for travel

Makes coffee as good or better than all the cafe's in my experience. There is a slight heat reduction with the 2 minutes steeping and cold milk drops it even more, and you need to wash three pieces between shots, use a fairly fresh water filter in your jug, and I semi clean the hand grinder also at the same time. Settings should be halfway between 1.9 and 3.4 on the grinder. Supermarket coffee with at least 14 months expiry date is it's chosen prey, you don't need specialist coffee unless on special occasions. Pre ground coffee would be fine, just check the expiry date on the side.

Durable and really easy to clean this brewer is also really flexible in the styles of drink it can produce. I have been using this to produce s.o.u.p style coffee concentrate which has opened up a new world of tastes from light roasted beans. Love it.

The only issue I can see is many parts you assemble and manage for a single shot of coffee, but you get the delicious coffee of aeropress and ease of use and portability No need for a specific goseneck kettle or a scale with timer so it is ideal for travel

Ich habe schon einiges an Kaffeezubereitungs naja Gerätschaften , von Aeropress , Mokakännchen über diverse Filtertypen bis Kaffeevollautomaten . Diesen OXO Brüher habe ich dann nach ein paar Recherchen gekauft , man braucht ja ab und zu ein neues Spielzeug. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn , ein sehr geschmacksintensives Konzentrat kann man damit herstellen das mit Wasser verdünt werden muss . Dieses Gebräu ziehe ich Filterkaffee vor , der OXO macht für meinen Geschmack besseren Kaffee .

Excellent brewer, allowed me to try different style of coffee other than pourover. In addition, if you are based in Singapore or Malaysia, you can make local coffee (kopi) using the local coffee powder that may be roasted with butter and sugar without using the coffee socks. Highly recommended and great for new to coffee user who wants very little equipment to kickstart this journey.
