Talk on Corners

I don't want to give a low rating cause there is absolutely nothing wrong with the music. The Corrs are the most elegant pop group that was around while I grew up and at least four of their albums are great from end to end. A joy to listen to, even years down the line. Warner Music however has added, I suspect, something in the manufacturing process that makes the discs unplayable on some computer cd/dvd players. My ASUS can't handle it. I must use an older external LG to play these. No problem whatsoever with hundreds of classical music cd-s from other labels, but all four Corrs albums I ordered have this issue. I've read about other people having this issue, so I am not alone in this. Well.. off to the Internet I go and download some flacs. And never touch a Warner CD ever again. And if someone asks why I play my cd-s on my PC it's because I can only afford so much technology. Labels should make life easier for their clients, not harder. tl;dr ? Awesome music. Disc unreadable on some computer drives.

Love this Album by the Corrs could listen to it all day

I'm sure most, if not all, people reading this review will be familiar with the hit single What Can I Do, but this is about so much more than the well-known songs. I have to admit that the first Corrs song I heard was Dreams and my reaction was "How dare these young upstarts think they're good enough to do a Fleetwood Mac song?". After a few listens I had to acknowledge that I prefer Andrea's voice to Stevie Nicks' and I've liked them ever since - in fact, I consider Dreams to be one of the highlights of this album and prefer it to Fleetwood Mac's version. Other highlights are So Young, I Never Loved You Anyway, Love Gives, Love Takes, Runaway, and Queen of Hollywood. I am mainly a Rock fan, so it comes as a surprise to find myself giving five stars to an album that consists of pop and Irish folk music, but with seven out of fifteen tracks being highlights and the remainder being good, I really can't justify anything less.

I haven't listened to this much, but am enjoying it so far. Still prefer Blue and Forgiven Not Forgotten :)

Very good music and value

Ordered as id lost my original from ba k when they released this album. Great quality.

No wonder this is the biggest selling Irish album in UK history. This band has no end of talent, and is nothing like pop music now. A well made album thought positive and negative emotions with a lovely blend of the violin and tin whistle for good measure.

I loved this original recording. I downloaded one of the songs - very disappointed as it was too loud and sounded too different from the original. I will stick with this CD - just what I wanted.

This edition is missing three songs that were on the original album, which was also cheaper. Is that what's meant by "special edition"? It's a bit of a cheat if it is ... But as the songs that remain are still quintessential Corrs, it still gets 4 stars.

Es un disco que recopila muchas canciones afamadas del grupo irlandés. Además, viene dentro de una caja de plástico duro y no en el últimamente clásico envase de cartón duro que no me suele gustar para conservar los discos. Buen precio.
