Construction was very easy, everything was properly labeled, no confusing “insert tab A into slot B” type wording, just pictures which is good for me. Look through the instruction manual first and decide if you want the shelf the left or right and follow the proper picture instructions. It’s pretty sturdy and takes up just the right amount of space for my living room. It’s a good height and comfortable to sit at for a few hours playing computer games. Overall I’m very happy and would buy another one should I ever need one.

Nice desk for the money. I purchased the 47" long L shaped desk. Instructions were clear and understandable. Solid desk with no wobbles. It's not the best but not the worst desk. My son's 19.5 inch gaming tower would not fit so we had to sacrifice a shelf but that's fine and it's still stable due to the metal cross supports. The height of the desk is average and fits a gaming chair at the lowest seat height setting. The 40" size may not fit a large gaming chair just keep that in mind The look of the desk is nice and it came perfect with no flaws, chips or cracks. All the hardware was present and the shipping box was undamaged. The desk serves it purpose for us and we are happy with it and it is cat approved ~

The desk was semi-easy to install. It can get confusing with all the holes since it can be built with the L shape on the left or right. Desk feels pretty sturdy I’d say but nothing special. I really like that there’s a plug directly on the table.

Because my husband is good with building, it was a good time constructing this desk. It was straight forward, and everything aligned well after it was put together. Not much space in storage - this isn't for someone with a lot of files. Looks sleek in black, gray's a nice touch.
