I give it 5 stars because it lasts long! I use a generous amount on my face and neck twice a day. Sure it makes your skin pasty white and you may appear like a ghost, but that's what a heavy consistency, zinc laden suncreen with a thick coating on application is meant to do, protect your skin from harmful UV rays! This is a genuine product from Sebamed, which has it's hassles, like it also stains clothes as it says in the pamphlet. If you apply it on your neck and wear something white, it could stain the collar or neckline. That's a minor gripe imo, because once you buy this, you forget about it for a few months. Also, it's skin friendly, as your face skin gets used to it, it doesn't make you break out. I have sensitive skin, so I find this sunscreen aggreable. I have used some known brands in the past, for me the Sebamed 50 SPF suncreen is highly effective and value for money. Update: Also soothes rashes; to the point of making it all disappear. This why I love this sunscreen, prevents you from reaching for an Allegra when you have a rash itch burn. Don't use calamine, use this.

Although the quantity of this sunscreen is a lot, it leaves a terrible white cast on the face. It's completely unsuitable for dusky people. The sunscreen doesn't blend into the skin, instead it leaves a white layer on it.

Horrible sunscreen. Does not absorb well, even after the regular "apply 20 minutes before sun exposure", it stays as a white film on your skin, the sebamed SPF 30 spray is much better at absorption Not sweatproof at all (even though the bottle claims its is sweat resistant). The moment you start sweating, this thing turns your face in a milky white cast which is embarrassing. And then runs into your eyes stinging like hell. So you need to stop doing everything (riding a bike, walking your dog etc) and try to get the blasted white fluid out of your eyes Best to go in for L'Oreal Paris UV perfect 12H Longlasting UV SPF50. It absorbs much better, cools your skin and does not run into your eyes

It also works as glowing product. Amazing fornorml or dry skin

I hve oily-combination skin and this sunscreen for actually very sencitive skin. When i applied this on my face my face became feel greasy and shiny but about 30min later my greasiness less and shine also. But though feel little bit greasy. But the fact that i like about this sunscreen it's water resistance. My face sweat a lot during summer so this sunscreen do not comes out whole sewating. I like this product becoz it's free from harmful chemical like paraben and i also didn't got any sin burn or tan after using this... 😊😊

As a dermatologist I would say it is one of the best sun protection available. Comes with extra skin nurturing ingredients, makes skin supple. No extra moisturiser needed. It's on the expensive side but a bottle will last you for ages, minimum four months. Just a pea size required for face. It appears to be oily, can be powered or mixed with foundation. P.S works as an excellent primer for makeup.
