Really happy with these compostable coffee pods. The coffee has a lovely flavour and aroma, and they’re so easy to use. I also like that the pods are compostable, which feels like a better option for reducing waste. They work well in my coffee machine and make a great cup every time. Definitely good value and I’d happily buy them again.

These pods are just as required. I like the fact it takes away the mess after brewing the coffee. Also the coffee is quite strong, mind there is plenty to choose from. Excellent can throughly recommend.

Just check your machine has an EZE pod basket. I see quite a few of the one star reviews are because they didn't have the right machine! It's a lovely smooth but rich coffee - just right for an espresso or cappuccino.

Great ese pods, makes my morning coffee much easier to make and is in recyclable packs with compostable pods.

I bought the blue pack for my Delonghi machine. Sadly the water pressure going through delivered a weak cup of coffee and as strength of flavour is my main criteria I was disappointed. However I carefully cut a circle of the top surface of the paper pod and tried again - delicious!! A lovely strong, flavourful cup of coffee. Yes it's a bit of a faff, however there is little mess as the grounds are contained - good it's compostable but the packaging is still plastic. So, for me there are pluses and minuses, but as a coffee lover I will definitely buy again. April 2025 - new coffee machine (old one died 2yrs ago) and I've been using a Tassimo machine and recycling the pods though podback. I decided to get a new machine as I wanted to just use ese pods - no mess and compostable. Ordered the gold pack - delicious and strong and the spent pods go in my compost bin . My only gripe is that I can't recycle the pod packaging - which defeats the object really .

Ich kenne die rote Mischung (*Miscela Rossa*) von Caffè Borbone bereits aus der Arbeit und wusste genau, worauf ich mich einlasse. Im Vergleich zur blauen Sorte merkt man hier direkt den deutlich höheren Robusta-Anteil: Der Kaffee ist spürbar kräftiger, markanter und hat extrem viel eigenen Charakter. Wer einen super weichen Allrounder sucht, greift lieber zu Blau. Wer aber einen echten, durchsetzungsstarken Espresso schätzt, wird Rot lieben. Ich trinke ihn am liebsten als Cappuccino. Durch die kräftige Note setzt er sich genial gegen die Milch durch und zaubert mit meiner La Piccola Piccola eine fantastische, dichte Crema in die Tasse. Wichtig für Einsteiger: Das sind E.S.E.-Pads (Easy Serving Espresso) und keine herkömmlichen, losen Kaffeepads (wie bspw. von Senseo). Sie haben nur 44 mm Durchmesser und das Espressopulver ist fest komprimiert, da das E.S.E.-System anders als typische Großraum-Padmaschinen mit echtem Druck arbeitet. Die Handhabung im Alltag ist unschlagbar sauber: Pad rein in die La Piccola, Knopf drücken, genießen und das Pad danach einfach entsorgen. Kein Herumkleckern mit Kaffeemehl, kein Aufwand. Ein Punkt zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit: Die Pads selbst sind zwar kompostierbar, allerdings ist jedes Pad einzeln in einer aluminiumhaltigen Schutzfolie verpackt. Um das Aroma perfekt frisch zu halten, mag das funktionieren, aber ökologisch ist dieser Verpackungsmüll natürlich fragwürdig. Das muss man ganz klar kritisieren. **Fazit:** Geschmacklich ein ehrlicher, starker Espresso für alle, die ein kräftiges Profil mögen. Perfekt für den Kick am Morgen oder als Basis für Cappuccino. Bis auf den Einzelverpackungsmüll ein top Produkt, das ich definitiv wieder bestellen werde!
