I give more then five ratting, smart tv, kodi xbmc media center and also a Rasbian os same as windows, I like very much I use berryboot for raspberry pi 3 model and use berryboot os images from pendrive. Wifi, Bluetooth, and my logitech k400 plus wireless keyboard and mouse awesome. Wifi attach just simple, I cannot post video of my smart tv plus pc otherwise this raspberry pi 3 model very important to any person learning computing at low budget, I have laptop and pc, but I make my sony tv as smart pc and Internet package. This note that vlc player play only audio, so use omxplayer or other. On 7 Dec. 2016, I attach my smartphone andriod in pi 3 with help of rplay sw. Please install in Rasbian os then its mirror, so iphone is also mirrarcast with help of rplay and some sudo commands. Update Update - use berryboot and berryboot os for multiple os. Some hardware give sound or video so use command to omxplayer better result. I try hindi fonts. Success or not, Later I tell. Hope its work. Andriod works also be progress. Update 10 jan 2017 : use sony cp-ad2 usb power adapter for better results. Other power adapter hang its. Update 22 feb 2017 : I make sound studio with help of this tiny but bulldog pi3 my avr receiver and taga speakers and openelec work awesome. Use sony cp-ad2 usb power adapter, otherwise its hang. Anyone exposed its other aspects, then email me for my knowledge. I await. Update 12 mar 2017 holi : sound master, use this pi 3 + pioneer av receiver vsx 531 k + Taga harmony speakers tav 606 + note 3 + mi pad = sound/ movie theater, awesome, sound and Dolby digital sound output give 5.1,5.2, 7.2. My avr not support 9.1 but pi 3 support. Small pi 3 saves my thousands rupees. I install addon musicbox on open elec on pi 3. Its have countless songs of world. I enjoy all new aspects of music and videos, with help of my pi 3. Any one suggestion on sound, videos please email me. Well before reviewing the product I would like to mention that I had built a robotic arm with camera vision and locomotion using this board as the heart of the project. I bought this product during the sale with a servo motors combo pack and got a very best deal at amazon with a return period trust. The product perfectly fine as after buying one of my friends pointed out that this model had some wifi connectivity issues which made me worried for a time but my unit didn't have that issue. If you are purchasing the product for a robotic arm, google assistant, or any other project you can go for it as amazon gives a 10-day return policy which ensures budget tolerable. As being engineers there are chances when we can order wrong items and the product doesn't juice up our requirement. As it happened to us because when we wanted to give the power source to our arm and bought a battery for the same. It was working in the store and when we reached our college it was a dead rat. We lost 250/- on the annoying battery but being beginners these types of errors can be neglected but because of Amazon, there was so much help that we were able to control the budget of the major project which made it possible. But this isn't the end we will make new projects to our heart content.

I bought it for learning IOT but because of it I ended up learning python, Linux commands, communication protocols and soo much more. I ended up making quite a few projects on this. I even ended up making my final year project on this. It's build was also very good and I know it is a bit more expensive than an Arduino but it also has the capacity to run a full fledged OS on this. You can't compare an Arduino to Raspberry Pi just because they both have physical pins to interact with the environment. Pi is capable of doing so much more. Like it has a camera interface so you can simply attach a camera and do image processing on PI which is not that easy on an Arduino. And because of Linux based OS, raspbian, you can also do multitasking, and yes there is a windows based OS for this as well. In short this product was a good investment from an engineering / hobbyist point of view. There is so much to do with this. But if you are beginner who just want ants to program simple stuff that can interact with the environment, like turning on bulbs with a button click or getting temperature data and setting thresholds based on that data then you can just go for an Arduino. It is easier to learn and get your hands dirty but if you need more processing power for projects like image processing or multitasking just go with a PI, it will be more expensive with its own price and a memory card for storing OS, (a monitor if you are not running a headless connection - for those who don't know, a home adless connection is basically when you connect you raspberry pi to your main computer or laptop to see its GUI as the OS which PI runs on, raspbian, offers you one) and also it will be a bit more time consuming in terms of setting things up but at the end it will serve you well.

The Raspberry Pi is a simple board. You should have the following ready with you for using the device. * a micro SD card * a micro-USB power cable * an HDMI cable * a USB keyboard * a USB mouse The micro SB card that I had had NOOB OS pre-installed. I connected my HD TV with the raspberry pi using the HDMI cable. I choose Rasbian to be installed. Everything worked fine with Rasbian. The display on HDMI TV was fine - no extra black border or spilled screen area. Audio worked through both the HDMI cable and audio jack. The USB peripherals (keyboard and mouse) also worked fine. The power source that I used was a USB to micro USB converter connected to a laptop. The machine worked fine without any issues with this power source. Video acceleration was okay. I was able to play an HD video without any lags or delay using omxplayer. Network worked fine both via an ethernet cable (eth0) and wi-fi (wlan0). I also tried the unofficial Ubuntu raspberry Pi image. The Ubuntu image worked mostly fine. It had better font rendering that Raspbian, but the rendered display was truncated.

I purchased a Raspberry pi 3 model B from ePro Labs through Amazon on 30 December 2016. The product carries 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Today, I noticed that the four USB ports of the device have stopped working altogether thus rendering the device useless for me. I wish to get the product repaired/replaced under warranty. Please guide me in this regard. I reside in Mumbai, India.

This review is mainly for the seller. I have purchased this device through a seller "green_india_electronics" the product went faulty after 2 months and when contacted the seller for warranty claim he has redirected the issue to another distributor who has blindly turned down my request with a no. the problem in my device is that the display port stopped working. My guess is that it should be having a dry soldering issue. this should be eligible for the warranty claim as it is because of the poor quality of the device. But the distributor without even testing the device have sent me a questionnaire to fill and with the questionnaire he has said warranty is void for this device. The distributor for this product is element14. Have raised this issue with amazon support team. Hoping for a solution. The below feed back is for the product good product for programmers and hobbyists. More control over what i can do with a basic micro controller. Its truly a basic computer and that too with the OS range its nice to have. I have tried it for my projects with python as wells as set up a NAS and streaming server with it. its good
